excellent disc actually...my faves are "stand it", "long lost love", "where my life leeds me to" and some others too...They remind me sometimes of "bonfire", the german band..the only thing i don't get is the intro of the song "drinking alone"...wtf is this? Nice indie release |

All I know about it is that Joe Joe Weekend (horrible name, both "Joe Joe" and "Weekend") was in the '80's, L.A. incarnation of The Godz. |

very good release for STONEWALL WEEKEND offering a nice commercial hard rock sound without being cheesy with many good songs even though the musicianship isnt of the highest level !it seems they do have a strong songwriting ability with a big variety of songs from rockers to mid tempos to ballads!"where my life leads me to","drinkin' alone"and 'our love" are fine songs!recommended |
