Really a heavy masterpiece. Great combination of strong vocals, impresionant guitar work and powerful songs. A must have. |

YES!!! Chris is one of the best guitarists there is, hands down. Rob Rock has some of the best vocals around period. Fastest soloing I think I've ever heard. Superb. Favorite tracks: Warrior, Fly Away, Answer To The Master. |

Well, if you like Axel Rudy Pell and Racer X I suggest you check this out asap. This is actually one of my fave Impelliteri CDs. 'Fly Away', 'Warrior', 'I'll Wait' and 'Hold the Line' are all good riff driven tracks with some cool choruses. The rest is pretty standard guitar hero heavy rock, which is great if it's your thing, but becomes a little boring to those looking for great songs instead. Good solid CD though. |

The red-hot guitars race along at near-reckless speed here, a mighty maelstrom of melodic metal played at 120 miles per hour. Thankfully, as is their forte, Chris & and his merry band of music makers never lose sight of the songs, which contain some cool hooks, good choruses, and solid backing vox. Rob Rock once again lends his powerful vocals and by this point his legendary status as the best Impellitteri singer is pretty much undisputed by all save for a few Graham Bonnet loyalists. While not quite the masterpiece that subsequent albums would be, this is still a snappy dose of high-octane, full-throttle, scorched earth, rip-and-shred melodic metal. |

Great disc!!!...powerful songs!!!...i agrre with metalmaniac777 about the singer issue...i think both singers(Bonnet/Rock) are amazing..nowadays Bonnet not so much shamely but obviously both have done a great job while in Impellitteri..."Fly Away" & "Something's Wrong With The World Today" are really good ones...another highlights are "The Future Is Black","Hold The Line" & "The King Is Rising"...94/100 |
