If you notice that a particular Spinal Tap CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. To be honest, this album just seems somewhat pointless. When they released Break like the wind, it worked for the most part, but this album falls flat for me. A good portion of the songs on here are re-recorded songs from the debut, which basically show up the newer material as weak. But even then, two of the re-records just outright suck (Sex farm and Flower people). The debut was an original piece of work that was a perfect companion to the film. The second album fitted in with the the tail end of the hair metal era, but this just seems to be some sort of nostalgia piece that seems somewhat out of its era. I dont think its the joke thats worn thin though, I just feel this is a half hearted project. Ok, the album is still not bad, its just that I guess I expected more. |

These guys should go back to being dead. They never were funny and they certainly aren't funny now. |

The packaging alone is freaking hilarious with the little cardboard band member dolls inside the album. The bonus DVD is awesome for a Tap fan. Wookie doesn't find the Tap funny? Seriously!!! Maybe his sense of humour died in a bizarre gardening accident... j/k :-) |

Wookie, what do you find funny, I think that is the most fitting question? little bit of Harry and the Hendersons maybe? oh shit how about How to lose a guy in ten days, now thats comedy huh, what are these fucking fags talking about, spinal tap was the most unfunny thing in history, i didnt even know i was supposed to be laughing when i 1st watched it, wasnt it the same for you? i thought i was watching a drama, or documentary of a highly irrelevant and talentless shitty 80s band, OH SHIT THAT IS WHAT I WAS WATCHING, I guess I was just supposed to be laughing, not feeling sorry. good post Wookie, we are on point on this one. |
