Great stuff! Overall, a very solid album that features great performances by all involved and due to a quality production job and some very fine songs. This album should please everyone into traditional AOR, uptempo Journey-esque melodic rock and those more at home with the old-school style of melodic music.

¿q opinais?

From: PUTTE Date: September 1, 2003 at 3:32
WOW, THIS RULES! JOSH RAMOS PLAYED ALSO WITH TWO FIRES AND KEVIN CHALFANT, WHAT MORE DO I NEED TO SAY ?

From: XLNT Date: September 24, 2003 at 8:00
Whoever labeled this Hard Rock must have been drunk at the time. Ramos - Living in the Light is pure AOR. Not only that, it’s one of the best, if not the best, AOR release of 2003. A clear must have for any serious AOR fan.

From: DivineTragedy Date: October 23, 2003 at 11:21

From: AOR freaky Date: December 2, 2003 at 8:32
Indeed, this is by no way hardrock, but brilliant AOR ! Some people still don't know the difference !!! Ramos is one of the best releases of the year so far. Only Pride Of Lions, Dream Theater and Vertigo are better. But this is perfect AOR, the way it should be done. Hail to mr. Ramos ! Thanks for giving us another great record, man !

From: Blaze Date: January 11, 2004 at 12:23
Mark Weitz is almost as good as Jeff Scot Soto.

From: GlenRavine Date: January 11, 2004 at 19:25
Good AOR - a little different - expected a bit more of a catchy chorus and hooks - enjoyable abd very listenable.

From: RODOLFO Date: February 12, 2004 at 13:55
LE SALUDA RODOLFO DE LIMA - PERU. QUE GRANDE ERES RAMOS CON LA GUITARRA, UN DISCO EXCEPCIONAL EN EL CUAL RAMOS DEJA AL CANTANTE JUEGE CON SU VOZ PARA QUE EN DETERMINADO MOMENTO DE CADA CANCION DARLE EL TOQUE DE MAGISTRAL , SUTILEZA DE LA GUITARRA, GRAN AOR DE MUCHA CALIDAD.

From: MelodicBoy Date: February 22, 2004 at 0:08
Like this one a lot. Sounds a bit like The Storm (oddly enough), but the guitars are more prominent. Quality AOR, clean production. I like the vocals from Mr Weitz, but let's not get crazy with comparisons to the mighty Jeff Scott Soto! Anyway, I recommend it. Nice to hear that some people still like uplifting, high energy AOR in the era of crappy, "I'm so pissed off" alternacrap stuff.

From: Marcio Tex Date: March 3, 2004 at 10:27

This guy is Mr. Josh Ramos from the band The Storm and Hardline II guitarrist. This is an awsome cd. If you like early Harem Scarem, Journey, Danger Danger, Van Halen etc, this is the right album for you. I like all songs but one, wich is Seize the Day. Cheers from Portugal

From: Geoff Date: September 21, 2004 at 18:03
Very good slab of melodic rock here. I though this was going to be like Two Fires and therefore avoided it for a long time, but I eventually heard a few samples and decided it was worthy of my purchase - and rightly so. Excellent melodic rock, with many stellar songs and beautiful melodic riffs. Great CD!

Super-recomendado. 9.3/10

From: JF Date: June 1, 2006 at 20:51

From: Clayton77 Date: January 2, 2007 at 20:18
These songs are a liitle bit stronger than Pride of Lions and so it`s the Nr.1 album of 2003. PURE AOR AT ITS VERY VERY BEST!!!!!!!

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 30, 2007 at 21:17
AWESOME AOR ALBUM!!! A destacar: "Living In The Light", "Come Back To Me" y la instrumental "Willie"

From: coverdale14 Date: November 12, 2007 at 20:45
HA! HA! BORING, SHOEMAKER WHAT DO YOU LIKE IT, RAP OR NU METAL?

From: shoemaker Date: November 13, 2007 at 8:57
No man, I´m more into old 80ies metal like LEATHERWOLF, QUEENSRYCHE or LE MANS (for your information, Ramos played in this band). I don´t like boring AOR without genitals.

From: coverdale14 Date: November 13, 2007 at 13:02
I KNOW LEMANS, FOR ME IS BETTER RAMOS, THE STORMS ALBUMS AND THE TWO FIRES ALBUMS TOO. THAT'S OK I LIKE QUEENSRYCHE AND LEATHERWOLF TOO, AND ALL THE HARD ROCK 80'S, BU YOU TELL ME WHAT IS "AOR WITHOUT GENITALS"?DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS "AOR"?

Turn the treble up and enjoy it. ...bye.

From: Kralli Date: May 28, 2011 at 14:34
Are you guys serious giving this an avarage rating of 87!?!? And naming it better than Pride Of Lions??! You often se overrated cds on this site but this is just madness. Everything about this cd is mediocre. Not bad but certainly nothing to name in the toplists of the year etc.

From: shoemaker Date: May 29, 2011 at 8:55
THats what I said, boring! Right Kralli!

From: Kim HP Date: May 29, 2011 at 12:56
Average AOR indeed. You guys are right!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 14, 2011 at 22:48
The last 3 comments are kinda bad but honestly this is a pleasant album...i mean maybe is not a killer one but it could easily satisfy the listeners or at least most of them (including myself obviously )...well my fave tracks are "Living In The Light","Winds Of Change","Seize The Day"(rocks),"Tell Me Why","Come Back To Me" & "You're So Far Away"(nice solid softy)...Mark Weitz does a great job as a singer and so does Josh Ramos on the guitar...Michael T Ross and Stuart Hamm rule too!!!...87/100 is my rating!!!

From: 123charpenay Date: June 7, 2013 at 16:31
pure a o r.too pure for me.this album is well produce, well singing and well playing and hyper melodic but...this style of a o r don t hooked me and don t exciting me.this record is too classic, too forseeable.always the same stuff song after song (no surprise) .a great a o r cd.not a jewel ,not a masterpiece.for die hard a o r fans only.
