Great stuff! Overall, a very solid album that features great performances by all involved and due to a quality production job and some very fine songs. This album should please everyone into traditional AOR, uptempo Journey-esque melodic rock and those more at home with the old-school style of melodic music.

Whoever labeled this Hard Rock must have been drunk at the time. Ramos - Living in the Light is pure AOR. Not only that, it’s one of the best, if not the best, AOR release of 2003. A clear must have for any serious AOR fan.

Indeed, this is by no way hardrock, but brilliant AOR ! Some people still don't know the difference !!! Ramos is one of the best releases of the year so far. Only Pride Of Lions, Dream Theater and Vertigo are better. But this is perfect AOR, the way it should be done. Hail to mr. Ramos ! Thanks for giving us another great record, man !

Mark Weitz is almost as good as Jeff Scot Soto.

LE SALUDA RODOLFO DE LIMA - PERU. QUE GRANDE ERES RAMOS CON LA GUITARRA, UN DISCO EXCEPCIONAL EN EL CUAL RAMOS DEJA AL CANTANTE JUEGE CON SU VOZ PARA QUE EN DETERMINADO MOMENTO DE CADA CANCION DARLE EL TOQUE DE MAGISTRAL , SUTILEZA DE LA GUITARRA, GRAN AOR DE MUCHA CALIDAD.

Like this one a lot. Sounds a bit like The Storm (oddly enough), but the guitars are more prominent. Quality AOR, clean production. I like the vocals from Mr Weitz, but let's not get crazy with comparisons to the mighty Jeff Scott Soto! Anyway, I recommend it. Nice to hear that some people still like uplifting, high energy AOR in the era of crappy, "I'm so pissed off" alternacrap stuff.

This guy is Mr. Josh Ramos from the band The Storm and Hardline II guitarrist. This is an awsome cd. If you like early Harem Scarem, Journey, Danger Danger, Van Halen etc, this is the right album for you. I like all songs but one, wich is Seize the Day. Cheers from Portugal

Very good slab of melodic rock here. I though this was going to be like Two Fires and therefore avoided it for a long time, but I eventually heard a few samples and decided it was worthy of my purchase - and rightly so. Excellent melodic rock, with many stellar songs and beautiful melodic riffs. Great CD!

A destacar: "Living In The Light", "Come Back To Me" y la instrumental "Willie"

No man, I´m more into old 80ies metal like LEATHERWOLF, QUEENSRYCHE or LE MANS (for your information, Ramos played in this band). I don´t like boring AOR without genitals.

Are you guys serious giving this an avarage rating of 87!?!? And naming it better than Pride Of Lions??! You often se overrated cds on this site but this is just madness. Everything about this cd is mediocre. Not bad but certainly nothing to name in the toplists of the year etc.

The last 3 comments are kinda bad but honestly this is a pleasant album...i mean maybe is not a killer one but it could easily satisfy the listeners or at least most of them (including myself obviously )...well my fave tracks are "Living In The Light","Winds Of Change","Seize The Day"(rocks),"Tell Me Why","Come Back To Me" & "You're So Far Away"(nice solid softy)...Mark Weitz does a great job as a singer and so does Josh Ramos on the guitar...Michael T Ross and Stuart Hamm rule too!!!...87/100 is my rating!!!

pure a o r.too pure for me.this album is well produce, well singing and well playing and hyper melodic but...this style of a o r don t hooked me and don t exciting me.this record is too classic, too forseeable.always the same stuff song after song (no surprise) .a great a o r cd.not a jewel ,not a masterpiece.for die hard a o r fans only.
