No people...stick to Dokken!!

From: Kevin Date: March 31, 2003 at 17:55
Is 'change the world' the same track that would later be on Dokken's 'Erase the slate'?

Maybe it's the Jeff Pilson/Dokken connection 'mystically' influencing me,but I enjoy this disc very much! While 'Stone Cold Believer' & 'We All Need Someone to Love' sound very Dokken-ish,the rest of this disc reminds of something you'd hear on Wild Horses-Bareback (yeah,I know Jeff wasn't on that one!).I enjoy tracks 1-4,8,9,& 11 the most, with Stone Cold Believer(ROCKER) being my fave.Good stuff! And BTW,the 'Change the World' found on this disc is NOT the same song later done by Dokken.

this is a very good album by jeff pilson & co. actually this is a lot better than the latest releases from dokken(they suck big time man!).good backing vocals & excellent rockers its what you gonna find in this one.recommended!.

Kind of a 2nd rate 'supergroup', but enjoyable for what it is. Jeff Pilson has a good voice for these songs. Some are good, some are forgettable, but nothing is bad outright. My personal favorite is 'Heaven is Waiting', but there are a couple of close 2nds. Not exactly a 'top priority' disc, though you could do much worse.

Great album, their best IMO! 'Can't slow down' is my fave track, but the whole album is full of massive songs. Production could be better though

any album is amazing if Ricky Parent is in.

From: Chad Date: November 26, 2004 at 22:15
Amazing this album is not. There are some good tunes on it, but not really anything memorable. I am a big Dokken fan as well as the Lynch/Pilson album. Not anything near as good on this one. Stone Cold Believer is a solid tune but not much else on this one. If you can get it cheap pick it up and decide for yourself. Otherwise spend your cash elsewhere.

I have to agree with Whiplash, this album is really quite good. It is not a heavy album by any means but it has some really good catchy tunes. I would liken it more to radio play type of songs. The later albums get progressively heavier and darker in sound. Tracks 4,5 and 6 are my fave on this disc. I am a huge Dokken fan so naturually I had to have this album and was not disappointed. 81/100

excellent debut for WAR &PEACE back in the early 90 s that i bought and enjoyed it much as it was a nice slab of hard rock something like a 90 s updated DOKKEN sound !the musicianship is excellent but there are no big songs even though all of them are remarkable!still sounds good and creat a good hard rocking vibe
