Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular War and Peace CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from War and Peace are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Track 5 is on Fireworks/Z Records recent sampler, and is the best track of the 18 samples. Odd mixture of Def Lep chords in verse, Yng Malmsteen lead breaks, & modern rock style harmonies done in classic/AOR tempo. Unlike most fringe-AOR attempts, it's imaginative, varied, original, and exhibits some semblance of songwriting talent. Hope this means the rest of the album's good too...! |

his is some heavy stuff, great job on the vocals Jeff, and he also does some great guitar work. Best track is Stranger in my own land. |

No surprises as to see where latter day Dokken got their 'melodies' from. This CD sounds exactly like the poorest tracks off 'Erase the slate' and 'Long way from home'. I like 'Stranger in my own land', but IMO the rest is just a bunch of dead melodies. Very poor release from a great artist. |

This is a great cd from start to finish.Pilson is a fantastic MR songwriter and musician. This sounds like the Lynch/Pilson cd.Evert song is good except for You Haunt Me its a little to mellow for me.Some of the songs take a little while to fully develope but they all come around to great songs in the end.Give it a good listen and you might just discover a lost gem.Recomended^. |
