This one's more of a grower than the previous 2, but production-wise is their best by a mile. And Zak delivers the performance of the year on tracks like the melodic "Heal You",the epic title-track (love those harmonies at the end),& the catchy "Sentenced" (great chorus). The lead-guitar work & vocals absolutely steal the show, as does my fave track: "Revelations". Staccato riffs & great soloing make this a killer. The keys/piano is back, the production is HUGE, & there are no fillers. 9.5/10.

Best Circle II Circle cd so far, Zak Stevens sound better than ever and production is great. Absolutely one of the best Metal albums of 2006.

An absolute masterpiece. And I make that statement with the addition of two more albums since this release, Burden of Truth is a rare breed. Conceptually this ain't too bad but what makes it click is, much like classic concept albums of old ie Mindcrime which Zak declares a major influence, each track stands alone and the album is void of filler. Highlights near impossible to list with each track delivering, but personal faves are opener WHO AM I TO BE, THE BLACK, MESSIAH, SENTENCED, REVELATIONS and the epic beauty of the closer LIVE AS ONE is probably the peak. But like I said, with every track a winner the list doesn't achieve anything but list most the album. I can't praise this one enough. It's rare after my years of metal and time doing what time has to the industry as a whole, for an new album to be so damn complete, so loyal to yesteryear while remaining current and just so necessary! Packaging and artwork high standard and of course Zak and co on their game! 95% & RECOMMENDED!
