If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Saga CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Saga are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The tracks that are most typical Saga are the open track "Heaven Can Wait" and "Gonna Give It To You" which is a tour de force track with swirling keys, a nice (though somewhat typical) guitar solo, and thrumming drums. Even if this isn't progressive in the truest sense, there is enough of interest here to bear repeated listenings. Recommended.

Probably Saga's weakest album, due to songs being not up to their usual high standards and a murky production. The cover of George Harrisons 'Taxman' wasn't exactly a wise move either. There are some good tracks on this album,'You're Not Alone 97' being a good remake of the original off the superb 'Images At Twilight' cd, and as Rycheage mentions above 'Heaven Can Wait' & 'Gonna Give' are goodies. If you have to buy some Saga stuff, definately go for the 1st 3 albumsthen move on to the later stuff.

How can I do it? I can only say the titles: SAGA (1978), IMAGES AT TWILIGHT (1979), SILENT KNIGHT (1980), WORLDS APART (1981), HEADS OR TALES (1983) are my favorites...
