Brilliant CD. One of my fave Jap albums ever!

From: vandervelde Date: July 26, 2005 at 10:39
No comments? No way...this is pure and simple one of the best CD i've heard in recent times...they sounds like more commercial (we have here some keys maybe that's why) FASTWAY with a little bit DOKKEN influence...and i must say i love Fastway, but this guys are far, far better...no fillers just killers...this slogan fits here perfectly...best songs Night By Night and Talkin' Bout You

From: Spudster Date: January 7, 2006 at 21:55
This was my introduction to Vow Wow and it might scare me away from the rest of their catalog. The music sounds very commercialized, but the songs just are not that catchy. I will stick with EZO and Loudness for Japanese metal bands.

Spudster said it above. The songs are layered with keys and the album has a hugely commercial sound, but they forgot to bring the hooks and big catchy choruses along to the party. This is dull, boring hard rock with no hooks dressed in a commercial disguise. 'Rock me now' is about the best they do, but even that is mediocre at best, IMO. Plus... no offence to the guy, but the vocals are very poor. I couldn't recommend this one.

I think I should hear again this cd,the first listening didn t impress me too much.I remember one great song,3/4 very good riffs and some filler, too.

Good songs, good musicans, but this whining vocals sucks a lot. The singer is even worse than Lenny Wolf from KINGDOM COME.

From: george_the_jack Date: June 15, 2008 at 9:16
The singer was listening too much Tom Keifer.........Sucks. Neil Murray what eXactly was doing with these Jap guys?????

This was my introduction to VOW WOW. Great song structures with cool hooks and very melodic solos. Fans of bands like Shy will definately apprecite this album. Very hard to find indeed but this album has basically the same track listing as VIBE except for one song. Anyways songs like Rock me Now, I Feel The Power and Talking Bout You make the album worth listening too.

excellent release for VOW WOW back in 89 ,as they turn even more commercial and offer a perfect balanced sound between keys and guitars !the songs are remarkable and are very well written and performed by a very solid band! these bands of Japan should do what LOUDNESS did with Vescera in order to sound better !"feel the power","talkin about you","the boy" ,"turn on the night" and "never let you go " are the highlights ,but the rest is also good stuff!
