If Bon Jovi came from Jacksonville Florida this what they would sound like. A big southern rock sound out of a hard rock band.

I have this Cd. It's great. Kinda like Lynyrd Skynard formed a hard rock band. I will trade this on CD-R for those I don't have - looking for old WASP, skin and bones, etc., on CD-R. David

Hey all. After reading about guys who are attempting to buy everything Pretty Boy(s) Floyd ever made I figured I was time for a sarcastic return. Things have gotten soft here at HH. Half the comments are in Spanish and the other half should be. My return vessel is Dillinger, a third rate southern tinged big haired LA afterthought. "Home For Better Days" is decent, the rest is pure shite! I saw these guys open for Danger Danger, AKA the PUSSIES and COWBOYS tour 1992. Laughable.

Really did not do anything for me.Southern Rock with more country than rock. The early 90's put out some good bands, this is NOT one of them. While they have their moments(Red, White and Blue)and I will not sell this album,it is not going to be played much by yours truly. It is "just ok" would be a good review of this one.Remember when a pack of gum was .25? Well, you got a pack of gum and only gave up a quarter.Seems like an even trade, same with this album it is cheap and just expect a pack of gum

Damn Yankees and Danny Wilde fans will appreciate this one. There are some god-awful tracks and I usually hate a disc like this on site, but this actually has some nice AOR ballads. Check out the more melodic tracks like 'Can it be love', 'Captain of My Life' 'Bad Love', 'Die For You' and 'Nothing (Without You)'. I don't love this disc, but it's stayed in my collection when many others have gone. To be honest, this has better songs than Damn Yankees, IMO - that's how average I find that disc!

This is horrible... bad songs, bad vocalist, bad damn near everything. The only semi-redeeming value is an decent version of Skynyrd's "Whiskey...", the one track where the vocalist doesn't completely annoy me. Save your $3... and spend it on anything else.

HardRock muy sureño, nada mal pero no el HardRock que gusta a la mayoría. Buena voz y muy buena producción. "The Bad One" "Nothing (Without You)" y "Captain of My Life" las mejorcillas. 7.8/10

Some of the negative comments above would make you think that this CD is horrendous enough to make you garge a twelve-gauge rather than risk hearing it, but truth is, this ain't that bad. Geoff's Damn Yankees comparison is a pretty good one, as there are certainly some southern rock cowboy edges here and there, but for the most part the sound is much more commercial hard rock than country, and the band really delivers in the ballad department with melodic greatness, particularly "Captain of my Life," which is a real gem. Bottom line, nothing you'll go hog-wild for, but kind of the musical equivalent of a bacon cheeseburger--cheap, decent taste, easy to digest, but nothing you want to eat everyday.

Dillinger band formed in LA in 1986 played all the rock venues of Hollywood and the Valley, their heavy southern rock flair helped to gain a record deal with JRS records and charted to number 36 on the R & R charts. Their debut album from the 90's Horses and Hawgs is a mix of Bad Company meets Lynyrd Skynyrd. Their success included a MTV videos "Home for Better Days" and "Can it be Love". A movie with the songs Named "Can it Be Love". Movie and TV credits included their songs on the TV series "Profiler', and Super bowl half time. and the movie "The Kid". Live tours included tours with, Joe Walsh, Boston, Danger Danger, …. The band is currently working on new music that embraces a "Back to the Music" vibe of classic rock. look for several dates to be added to the kick off date of May 7th 2011 Nashville, Tn.

I won't be as harsh as some concerning this one. When I'm in the mood for some good old Southern style country rock this works. It's not for averyone but worth getting because it's uaually pretty cheap.

i bought it for half a dollar and I find it's a better type of investment than when insane people buy overpriced awful rarities like Kidd Wikkid or something else for $600-800
