Listening to a drunk-off-his-gourd street bum--er, homeless person--bang his empty wine bottle against a rusty trash barrel is better than the sound this band serves up. OK, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. This CD has zero redeeming qualities and is weaker than a kitten with no legs and no teeth surrounded by a pack of starving dogs. There are about 10,000 better CDs to get before you get this one, so buying this one would be a big mistake. |

M. Allen! I usually agree with your comments, but this time I think you went a bit too far in your criticism. This record is not good, but it beats the hell out of many CDs from the mid 90s (e.g. American Hardcore with L.A. Guns). I bought my copy SEALED for 2$, which it was worth, in my opinion. |

You guys are both high! Yeah, a few of the tunes on this CD suck, but name one record ever recorded that DOESN'T have a few bad songs on it. All-in-all, this record rocks! |

I like "Anytime, Anywhere", but it's the only song I've heard from them. I'm starting to think the 90s had the worst album covers ever. |

Reading some comments above I've decided to write some words to stick up for this hard rock wriggling its way through the unfriendly grunge/alternative era. I like this album, I can feel soft bluesy vibes that are so typical for melodic American bands like TYKETTO, FIREHOUSE, BEGGARS & THIEVES, EVERY MOTHERS NIGHTMARE... and despite the year 1995, you can hardly hear typical "sound prints" of those times (perhaps some CANDLEBOX elements alike). All in all, a good piece of music, and if you like the bands mentioned in my comment, this band is worth trying to get its chance (IMO). 85/100. |
