Boy am I glad somebody brilliant finally added this classic onto HH. Features Bad Brad Sinsel's distinctive snarl wrapped around gritty songwriting. Quite good for 1984. "Run Out of Town" is an all-time classic. I have seen this as part of a 2 disc package on e-bay (no not the horrible "In Your Face and Up Your Ass"), but I forget who the other band was. Metal Mayhem was going to re-release but legal troubles are stopping that process. If you can find it snatch it up. Rare and wonderful.

These songs were all written in the early 80s but not released until '84. They were ahead of their time. Solid hard rock that suffers from the flat production. Brad Sinsel is one of the most underrated vocalists ever. The song "(I Can Do)Without You" is missing from the track listing. Is it not on the cd version?

This is awesome stuff, and about as bruising an album of hard rock as you'll find on the block.

I have this on lp, it's decent. Not the lost classic I was hoping for, but better than most of the pack.

A cracking album. Dunno if the MFN/Combat version has been re-released on cd, but it's this mix which blows the original version away.

To Gar: I believe the song I Can Do Without You is simply titled Without You on this "rough mix" CD.

Fantastic album! My friend just released this thru his Divebomb label and a great job he did I might add. Without question the definitive version of this cd. There is no reason for anyone to not have this in their collection.

excellent debut for TKO with Brad Sinsel s rough vocals being the mane attraction along with that n your face way of writing anthemic songs of the early 8 0 s !i agree that the production isnt the best and maybe a really big song could push things further for them, but anyway that gem still rocks

Cool disc from a band who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I've heard that these songs were written/recorded in '81, which makes them all the more remarkable, as this sort of music wasn't really happening yet in any big way in America. Mine is the 2008 Divebomb version, and I have to say I prefer the new remixes. The original mix is very flat and thin-sounding to me. Closest comparisons might be same-period Saxon and Riot, though with a more poppy, party-hearty American feel rather than NWOBHM studs-and-leather seriousness. Brad Sinsel has a great voice that, again, puts me in mind of Biff Byford or Guy Speranza, but with more grit and a downward-tugging hint of despair ever-present. Sometimes he enunciates like Dio, and there are a few times I wish he would just sing the melody and not waaaaaail so much. The music is heavy for its time, and the gnarly guitar tone is very tasty. Favorite tracks are "I Wanna Fight," "Give In To The Night," "End Of The Line," "Working Girl," "D

"Don't Give It Away," the mournful ballad "(I Can D) Without You," and the ripping final blast of "Danger City." A friend from Washington State always sang their praises, and turned me on to Below The Belt (while In Your Face was still very hard to find), and I didn't get it. This is much better and worth seeking out for anybody into heavy rock from the early '80's.
