If you notice that a particular Raging Slab CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Raging Slab are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

HORRIBLE. Avoid, unless you're a completist.

Decent and Average HardRock with a hard edged Southern Rock, maybe forgettable but horrible? if you are not into Southern Rock could think that, hey, there are many fillers indeed. "Econoliner" reminded me to Primus and Black Crowes. 6.8/10

I bought this last summer but finally got around to listening to it yesterday. This album is horrible. What happened to the band? The songs sound like a mix of Primus and Weezer. Horrible garbage produced in part by Rick Rubin. As mentioned above avoid unless you are a completist

The story behind Sing Monkey Sing is that, over the past five years, the band had recorded three albums for American Recordings, all of which were rejected by Rick Rubin, who "didn't hear any songs." Yet even though they refused to release any of this material, they wouldn't let the band out of their contract. So Raging Slab recorded this album, with its sarcastic, bitter title, and made it intentionally bad by their own standards (and ours). To add insult to injury, due to internal corporate strife, the label wouldn't prommmote the record and continued to keep them in limbo for four more years, essentially keeping them from working until the legal mess finally got untagnled. The three unreleased albums are called Freeburden, From A Southern Space, and Black Belt In Boogie, and can be found online if you want to hear 'em. All much better than this.
