if what youre after is some truly inspiring melodic rock then look no further cause what you have here is an album that from the first to the last song wont let you breathe one single minute.superb songs with loads of keyboard blasts coming out of your speakers like mad dogs!the production its also very good and does help the songs really shine throughout the whole album.top class album!.

Right Rob, this is another AOR jewel from Canada. Brilliant AOR is what we get here ! ' You're not so hot' blows you away and all other songs are pearls too. A MUST for any serious AOR lover ! We have the same taste, Rob !!!

Can't say I care for this album. Seems to be pretty run of the mill same ole same ole for this type of Aor Not to mention its short only 38 minutes. I can live with the length of the album if they quality was of the songs were better. I will say that shelly has a nice voice though. However I just can't recomend this album

The lenght of this album ! ! dckiss, this is an old record now put on CD, so 38 minutes was even long at that time ! Worse is if new bands like Harem Scarem put CD's out of the same running time ! And the quality : GREAT canadian AOR !!!

Canuck 80's AOR band of the highest calibur! OK, maybe not THE highest, but still damn good! This is their 2nd release and has a bigger keyboard dominated mid 80's sound ala Honeymoon Suite. They have another called "Tampico Gold" that is for lovers of AOR from a little earlier time frame, as that one recalls classic acts like Trillion. The discs are nicely remastered (sound, packaging is pretty weak) by Pacemaker Records and each comes complete with a mountain of bonus tracks!

1ºHacen AOR puro,clásico o como lo querais llamar pero no West Coast como pone arriba.2º¿A quien se parecen?lo mismo se me va un poco la pinza pero yo diria q le dan un aire a discos como "Midnight Madness"-Night Ranger,"Thill Of The Chase"-Simon Chase,"You're My Road"-Rick Cua,"Nightwork"-Nightwork,"Another Night In The City"-Beau Geste..en fin AOR marchosillo.3ºEste disco esta a años luz de todos esos q acabo de citar,es mas a mi parece un disco mediocre y con una producción calamitosa.4/10

Is this album really THAT good (9.25 out of ten)?? Normally I don't like canadien bands too much 'cos I think they play boring AOR (e.g. HAREM SCAREM). Even on BEAU GESTE's "Another night.." I actually only like one song ("Take these chains" --but this is first class!!) Is Shelly Gellner a woman?? --'Cos I like female AOR. And often the albums with a short length are the best

Very good Canadian AOR and apart from the bands mentioned above reminds alot of a ballsier Agent & in places Duke Jupiter. Don't know exactly when or on what label this was originally released (around '87 I believe), but soundwise sounds excellent, especially if this was (presumably) a small label affair. Most importantly the song quality is also very very good throughout. OK, it's nothing approaching groundbreaking, but is a nice, solid addition to your Canadian AOR collection.

Not so good. AOR in a Honeymoon Suite, Beau Geste a little bit of BLVD vein, but i think this album doesn´s have efectivity and at least 2 or 3 songs to remember by... Regular Album, nothing more

The back insert with my cd shows 1984 Quality Records, made in Canada. The top of the cd says "Unforgotten Jewels Presents" Cat #QW03 but has no date. I guess it really dosen't matter if you like the music. I do!!!!!!!!!!!

Received this disc today from the person who commented above. Great music but straight off vinyl. The cracks and pops can easily be heard. Do not buy the release that says Unforgotten Jewels Presents unless hard up. Look for a legit release on Pacemaker.

I have the "Forgotten Jewels" cd. Although it may be a direct transfer from vinyl it's still some great rock/AOR. Actually it's no worse then early cd's that were made by direst transfer from tape. I collect rare items but sometimes you have to give a little to get a little. If you find it cheap go ahead and get it. The odds of finding an original are slim and you are probably going to put out big bucks.

Good album but it lacks what we call "the punch" to be really enjoyable or at least is my humble opinion and as usual respecting people's comments..i mean is not a bad album don't misunderstand me but....ummmmmm....tracks:"We Need Love","You're Not So Hot","Dreamer"(rocks),"(I Don't Wanna)Break Your Heart"(excellent),"Trouble Trouble"(nice AOR)& "Hold Me"(soft)...85/100
