If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Nouveaux CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Nouveaux are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Another awesome output by Nouveaux, though this one has a more acoustic feel, so may not appeal to everyone here. If melody is your driving force, though, GET IT!!!

Like so many Christian rock follow-ups (Halo's "Heavens Calling", The Brave's "Trust", etc.) this sophmore attempt fails to sustain the magic & explosive momentum of the debut. Instead, they strip down and, with less electricity going into their instruments this time around, there's accordingly less voltage & power in the songs. The debut "Beginnings" is the one to get. THAT release is incredibly potent & recommended for fans of big-sounding rock like Def Lep, Tamplin or Liaison on steroids.

This second, and final, Nouveaux album is a drop down from Beginnings, but it still has flavor. There's nothing worse than a band producing the same ol thing every time out. Def Leppard was hurt by Adrenalize cause they didn't change with the times. Since then, Leppard has changed their sound, but it hasn't quite caught on, even though I love it. Anyways, it's a shame that Nouveaux didn't last. I would have loved to hear a thrid album. But at least we have some quality stuff that will last.

The sounds of the new cd, though new, are a welcoming sound. The mostly accoustic rhythms match perfectly with the voices on this album. Great words with a greater message make this album a top choice in my cd collection. Kudos to Nouveaux.

Vocals are great but the music slowed down way to much for me. Not really like Beginnings at all. A nice album to mellow down to but if your looking for that Beginnings style forget it! Too soft for me. I owned it but traded it off. Not a must have for your collection in my opinion.

"...And This is how I Feel" is the name of the CD and apparently how this Christian rock was feeling at the time was quite mellow. Gone are the bombastic, over-the-top, Def Leppard-esque tunes of their debut, replaced by acoustic guitars and a chilled vibe. You'll find yourself puzzledly asking, "Is this really the same band that recorded 'Beginnings'?" You have to wonder how the band expected to keep their fans happy with this lightweight, coffeehouse-approved drivel that makes Richard Marx sound like heavy metal. I couldn't get rid of this fast enough when I first picked it up, and my opinion hasn't improved over the years. And this is how I feel: very disappointed.
