Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Their best album 10/10 |

Good disc. I couldn't call it their best as imo it's nowhere near the quality of the brilliant 'Cop to con' or even 'Ridin' high'. Not even sure if it's as good as their last disc, which was also very good. Apart from the debut, though, these guys are always great. I like this album a lot - almost reminds me of Wig Wam mixed with Sha-Boom, but just not quite as good as either. 'Are You Ready (I'm Ready)' is my favourite song, but this is a good solid slab of melodic hard rock and well worth checking out. |

This band is like one of those that in every album they record is like a "draw a smile in my face" one....i mean,a simple catchy formula of making songs...this ain't their best one IMO but it does draw that ![]() |
