So what's the verdict on the three additional tunes? I'm very curious as I still haven't received my copy yet.

From: TIM (2) Date: August 19, 2005 at 15:27
Great job with the re-release (or is it the first release?) - not that it needed the re-master anyway... This is of course a true MONSTER AOR release, & this and the BLUE TEARS are the 2 truly essential discs getting released this month that you must own. Only 'A New Game' isn't quite up to par, the other 2 bonus tracks are easily as good as the rest. 'Last Time I Say Goodbye' is one the greatest moments ever in AOR IMO. The tracklisting could do with tweaking, but otherwise it's perfect. 10/10.

From: Wotty Date: August 19, 2005 at 15:40
Won't get my copy until the end of the month, but it should be well worth the wait !!!

From: ashen_light Date: August 20, 2005 at 15:09
I am very happy to see this material released in a proper manner. Finally, I can sustitute my CDR with the affordable original. Well, I agree with Tim2 on the 'New Game'-kind of indigestable for my ears after listening to the first 10 tracks. Such tracks as 'Never', 'Clair' and 'Last Time I Say Goodbye' are probably the best tracks recorded in AOR history and the entire album proves that lyrics, melodies, vocals and production can be an ultimate musical force. This one is among my top three.

waiting!!!!!! Surrender, FM--Tough, TShaw-Ambition and MBolton-Crazy, should be a good week when these come in!!!!!! I am getting ready listening to a cdr copy of a few Surrender tunes, Nikki, Never, Claire, great tunes!!!

From: AJ Date: August 26, 2005 at 8:41
One of the best AOR cd's of all time. Never heard the original cd (not even a cd-r of it). All I have to say is the same thing Surrender says in their thanks section. Dan (the owner of this site) thanks for giving them the heads up. I believe that you probably are one of, if not the only reason this cd is now seeing the light of day again and to Surrender....thanks for a great melodic AOR cd.

From: AJ Date: August 26, 2005 at 8:41
One more thing...for the curious....the bonus tracks are cool too.

From: swriter Date: August 27, 2005 at 13:21
it's here, and what a great one, sounds so great compared to my cdr form years ago!!!!! hahaha really glad this one is out and hope everyone gets this, nothing to add but again, one of the best unknown cds ever, I really like the bonus track Carrie

From: Nick C Date: September 3, 2005 at 9:03
Yep I'm glad this has been made easily available too. Just got it today and have given it about 3 spins already and it just sounds great. After all the comments I've read on these pages about it I was worried if it would live up to my expectations...it has EASILY. Some way cool songs ... it's a hot hot sunny day here and this just fits prefectly. Well done Dan for helping them out with this 're-release' he's thanked on the inner sleeve too (fame at last eh?).

From: Nick C Date: September 3, 2005 at 17:35
Shoot forgot it mentions Mike too!!!! Well done the pair of ya!

Not the straightforward AOR sound I was expecting. This is a rock album with many Influences running through it's veins. Ok, tracks like 'Never' & 'Claire' are pretty Fabulous AOR tracks with a definate Pomp edge to the arrangements. In complete comparison crops up 'Nikki' with it's harmonies, guitar lines/solo & especially the chorus which sounds completely like prime time It Bites, I kid you not-fanbloodytastic.

The It Bites influence also crops up on others tracks, especially in the arrangements and guitar/keys parts - notably 'Sunrise Goodbye','Feel The Burn' ,'One Tough City' & 'Thought You Should Know'. I can't fault any of the tracks on this album, as they dare to be a little different and don't follow the usual formula as seen on a lot of AOR releases. A complete & total surprise this one and a very, very pleasant one at that.

From: Wotty Date: September 7, 2005 at 13:35
Superb album that intertwines between A.O.R. and M.H.R. with some glorious harmony vocals especially on 'Nikki'Well worth the wait and a cracking re-issue.

From: Geoff Date: September 8, 2005 at 21:14
I think 900f rare rock indies are over-rated beyond comprehension. This is in the other 10% that aren't. Unique, immense... just a beautiful disc. 'Never' and 'Claire' set the scene in an unbelievable nature but it is 'Later' that will rip you apart with brilliance. I hate 'Nikki' and can't get into 'New game', but the rest are all awesome. Sensational melodies, brilliant songwriting and stellar performances from everyone involved. And it's unique... not safe or by the book. Love it!

From: z4roxx Date: October 19, 2005 at 11:42
My rate about this band must grow, also 2 of the 3 bonus are marvellous…This was one of the best aor bands ever heard IMO!

From: The Dolphin Date: October 20, 2005 at 3:50
A GREAT MELODIC ROCK ALBUM AND NOW ALSO A GREAT PRODUCTION!!!!

From: eddie3683 Date: November 2, 2005 at 20:06
One of the worse cd that i own. I read the reviews for this album and decided to purchase it. I listened to it several times. I could not get into this cd. I threw it in the garbage. What a waste of money.

From: headbanger4life Date: November 3, 2005 at 22:03
Hey eddie, don't throw it away. If you still have it and it's not messed up from your garbage, I'll take it off your hands. I can PayPal you for shipping. Please email me at brozekscott@hotmail.com

From: z4roxx Date: November 6, 2005 at 11:19
I think this songs did realize in a quick way,and I’m pretty sure about this thing especially if you hear”Later”,full of sound and vox improvisations IMO..BTW finally got my original copy, very happy for it!!!

From: poproxx2007 Date: December 22, 2005 at 20:02
I can hear why it garners so much praise but for some reason I was expecting more. At first listen I couldnt get passed Siccoli's vocals but after a while it started growing on me. Best tracks are 'Never', 'Claire' and 'Last Time I Said Goodbye'.

From: WASP1 Date: September 2, 2006 at 16:22
I am not normally a big AOR fan, but this one is really good. Not too thrilled about the bonus tracks because I think the first siger was far better. The production is fantastic and they have some really interesting arrangements. If it had been pushed around 84 or 85 then they may have gone somewhere.

From: BIG-TIME Date: May 26, 2007 at 17:04
Will never buy this on the account of the vocal's! I really hate them. The music is OK bit to poppy and pompy and not really into that, but if I come accross it for about £1 then i'll get it...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: kipvanpearcy Date: September 20, 2007 at 8:54
What a great CD! There's not one filler on this one.

From: juan carlos Date: May 19, 2009 at 2:02
I already have commentted this GEM!. I agree with all the positive comments. Yes AJ, One of the best AOR cd's of all times. If you like BOSTON, Survivor, FM this is yours. BUY OR DIE. 9.7/10

From: Psyborg Date: May 31, 2009 at 12:07
Have to agree with BIG-TIME in terms of the voice. The music is quite good, but I can't bear Siccoli's singing.
