Crystavox rules! The first album is great - It's Alright to Rock and Roll is a great song, in the vein of Great White or Cinderella. The ballad Home Again is also awesome, and the whole album really rocks.

From: scandal Date: June 15, 2002 at 13:37
crystavox's lyrics kept on living in my mind, while i was doing drugs and doing everything that God had forbidden to do, just to tease Him. but now i know better !!!!! jesus rules !!!!!!

I'd say this is one of the best Christian CD's I've heard yet. The heck with Stryper. I wish these guys put out more music, and I wish I would of became a Christian in the 10 years before I did so I could of seen these guys in concert. "All Around The World" is my favorite song from them. I like their follow up as well but this definately is the better one. I have been cranking this release in my car and house since I got it off ebay 2 months ago. Trust me, it's worth every dollar you pay to get

Take it from an old school rocker like myself. I've listened to everything from Aerosmith to Zebra (general market) and Arsenal to Zion (Christian Market), This self titled CD by Crystavox ranks in my top 10 Christian metal CDs of all time. Along with albums by Rage of Angels, Guardian, Stryper, Holy Soldier, Whitecross and others. 2 simple words....GET IT! And still relativlely inexpensive on eBay when it comes up. Usually around $15-20. I've paid much much more for others.

What a killer release by these guys...POWER GAMES is one hell of a killer tune...top 2 off my fav christian metal groups thats for sure..a Cd worth picking up and worth every dime...9/10

I agree with X4J777...the disc is still in my top 10. Home Again is a beautiful ballad with moving lyrics. The album on the whole is 80's hair metal while the second album has a slightly heavier, darker guitar sound. Both are excellent and along with Rage Of Angels,The Brave - Battle Cries,Guardian - Fire and Love and Holy Soldier - Last Train are the best Christian Rock discs i have heard.Glad i found the first disc for about $3-00!!!

I have the "Bottom Line" cd from Crystavox. It rocks, I would be glad to share it with anybody. My address is dominion7@yahoo.com

From: Geoff Date: March 8, 2005 at 19:39
Speak of the devil... or of the lord to be exact. Here is another christian band, but I quite like these guys. Musically much better than Crossection, IMO, and this is one of the few bands I can sometimes look past the message and enjoy the songs. Still gets the better of me from time to time, but overall this is a good melodic hard rock disc... could have been great though.

From: stryper Date: August 22, 2005 at 9:31
great white metal.they do remind me of someone else.but can't put my finger on it.don't let the message these guys put out.let you miss out on a top rock album.and anyway.it ain't that stand out.not like some christian bands i could name.buy it if you can!!!!!!

From: metalmaniac777 Date: January 10, 2007 at 19:51
I was never overly enamoured with this Christian metal (or "white metal," if you prefer the term) band. Of their 2 CDs, their 2nd one ("The Bottom Line") is superior, but this debut is OK too. But therein lies the problem--it's just OK, nothing special, and certainly not on par with the best Christian metal bands of the late 80s. Held up against the likes of Guardian or Holy Soldier or Leviticus, Crystavox just falls short, coming across as second-rate.

Well I think we all agree that track 2 is the killer here (power games) with it`s change in pace and groove come chorus time, unfortunately the rest of the CD kinda falls flat and lacks the inspiration shown on that fore mentioned track. Generic hair metal is the best description of the rest of the disc with lack of hooks and memorable choruses being the main complaint. If christian metal is what your looking for (personally I can listen to VENOM and STRYPER with no problem.)check out RAGE OF AN

check out RAGE OF ANGELS or GUARDIAN.

hard rock without slogan sex, drugs and r'n'r. I saw up on this site that no one played bass on this record but I didn't noticed that while listening to it. I like this album, mostly because of songs: power games, come home, it's allright and never give in and ofcourse the lyrics. recommended!

From: andi Date: March 2, 2012 at 9:39
This is KICK ASS Album!!!one of the greatest Hardrock Albums i´ve ever heard in my Life!!!similar to Bands like Dokken,Y&T,Bonfire,Harder Bangalore Choir!!!Great!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 10, 2012 at 17:33
A band that has a mix of Ratt,Great White and Whitecross to say some in their songs and vocally is pretty close to Scott Wenzel(Whitecross vocalist)...the production of the album is not very good at all so the songs lose a bit of the quality they have but putting apart that issue is a goodie one to listen to...my faves outta be "Power Games","Sacrifice"(catchy),"All The Way"(catchy) & "All Around The Wolrd"...enjoyable...86/100
