Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Ontray CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Ontray are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Don't be deceived by the cover. What's inside makes the "Lame Hall of Fame." Very overhyped and a complete waste of money. I guess you could buy it to make your friends jealous. The trick would be to never play it for them so they don't have a big laugh at your expense. |

OUCH! Damn, Tim, that was brutal. Never heard of these guys, but combine your review with the fact that they're on a label called "Purple Quack," and take a gander at some of these song-titles, and the backing vocals being done by "The THugs" ... and I can but conclude that these guys do in fact suck~! |

I hate to disagree with my man Tim, but we all can't like the same thing. I really enjoyed this cd, just picked it up, tracks 1 and 3 for me were standouts. if you like cheesy hair metal, this is pretty cheese, just look at the cover! good stuff if you ask me!! |
From: TheRipper | Date: June 7, 2003 at 23:08 |
I agree MButt, the key is that it is cheesy, but not as bad as some make it out to be. While I will not damn anybody (like many other rarities) for not loving it, after some more listens I got into a few more songs in which they weren't bad at all. This one's as rare as anything to find too. |

Absolutely rubbish. As you said TIm A complete waste of money. |
From: koogles | Date: February 17, 2004 at 17:43 |
Agreed with TIM. Mediocre stuff, the eBay price of $200 is roughly $190 more than the band spend on production. And the songs just didn't affect me. They kept pouring out of my speakers, one after another, without as much as a care in the world coming from my ears. I suppose the only way I would have felt anything is if I paid $200 for this one. Then I would have felt something. The sizzling of my a$$ on the hot coals of a ripoff. |

From: ERIK | Date: May 9, 2004 at 18:54 |
Ontray is not as good as the top acts of glam rock like Pretty Boy Floyd or Poison, but they are much better than 99 % of all crap that's out there today (including the Darkness). If I hadn't been able to download it for free, I would have paid 150$ for it. |
From: Paolo | Date: June 28, 2004 at 9:09 |
Disappointing!! Don't waste a lot of money on this one, poor songs and so so production, for die hard collectors only.... |
From: Richierocker | Date: August 21, 2004 at 12:17 |

pretty good indie hard rock release by ONTRAY,that will satisfy any die hard fan of the genre, without finding anything blowminding!the songs are ok ,the guitar solos remarkable and if the vocals were more professional the whole result would be better !a useful addition overall! |
