Pure class from beginning to the end - and with a list of players like the ones featured, this is every West Coast/ AOR fans wet dream. I won't pick out individual tracks as they are ALL top class. Tommy is in fine form here and this must go down as one of his best releases ever. The follow uo 'Yeah' is first class aswell, so you would be advised to get them both right now!!!!!

Take one part Toto, one part Chicago, and perhaps a drizzle of West Coast a la Fee Waybill or Richard Marx, and 'Ceremony Of Innocence' is what you'll get. Added to that of course is Tommy's own definitive guitar style. In summary, 'Ceremony Of Innocence' is not just a collection of songs, but a subtle listening experience of quality production for those with appreciative and understanding ears!

I bought this CD for full price on hype and hype alone. What a waste of money... as I said about Talk of the Town, this is great for the Toto lovers and that type of AOR style, but this just does nothing for me personally. It just appears a completely different song structure to other supposed AOR acts like Signal, Giant and Outside Edge. I'll take those any day, but I also appreciate there are a lot out there who like this style. Never again for me though...

This CD a waste of money....What a scandalous statement that is.Slating this and Talk of the Town, seemed more like a personal attack on Tommy than anything else.Just remember,Tommys style, and other bands willingness to work with him, highlight the fact his formular seems to work.

Damn right, Wotty ! Tommy is a great artist ! But we both know who gives his vision and we both know how much the man knows about AOR ! O.K. : it's another kind of AOR than Signal, Giant or Outside Edge, wich are in my book also better, but this means not that this one is a waste of money. Signal, Outside Edge and Giant are among the top AOR acts, but this is more westcoast/AOR, that I also can appreciate, being it less than the named acts and the pure AOR acts. But Spin Gallery is top AOR !

Really classy stuff, and this gets far more air time than the "Yeah" album for me. To hear the likes of Kimball, Williams, Scheff altogether on one CD is amazing, although I've probably heard "Grace" enough times now (3 at last count). Almost seems unfair to pick out just one track, but "Silent Cries" with Jim Jidhed on vocals would get my award as it's the most AOR track on offer. If you like subtle and haunting melodies, and stunning lead guitar work, this is almost perfect. 9/10.

Tim[2],You are a gentleman, and obviously no need at all for a Denander education.Your last statement citing almost perfection,is as profound as you can get.Excellent my man,I am welling up here.....

Classic record, but... how did Jeff Porcaro the Almighty play drums on this record if he unfortunately died in 1992 and this record was issued in 2001????????

"The Story of Love", "On My Own" con Frederiksen, "Haunt Me Tonight", "When You’re In Love" con Bobby Kimball, son mis preferidas del disco. "Remember my Concience" es el bonus japones con Andy Eklund a las voces, rítmica con un gran solo, excelente. 8.5/10

Lite AOR???...not really but a quite good AOR with some Westcoast added release instead!!!..."Crimes Of Passion","On My Own","Grace"(nice),"L.A. Movies","A Case Of Right Or Wrong","Silent Cries"( ),"When You're In Love"(great!) & "Remember My Concience"(japanese B/T) are the best ones IMO...the list of the fantastic musicians that played on this record makes you feel secure of what you are about to listen...recommended album...90/100
