The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Y and T CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Y and T are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Heard this album way after getting into the band. Pretty straight ahead rocking for 1976, I think. Really raw production on this one, but gives it a live feel. Interesting to hear Phil Kennemore and Leonard Haze on vocals ('Alcohol' became quite the party song among my buddies after we heard it). A good start for one of my favorite bands.

I have this on Vinyl, there are some great tracks here, actually everything here is great!! Dave Meniketti just smokes on guitar!! The production here is a bit raw, but thats ok, as it serves the songs well...If you havent heard this, do yourself a favor & check it out!!

Got this record free when I bought new stereos way back 1982. Sounds like Dave Meniketti would be running while singing. Alcohol and 25 Hours a Day are nice songs. Shows the talent that band later showed.

This is one purely for collection purposes only. This is a great band, and I guess for the time and the era this is pretty a cool album, but not really my sort of stuff at all. Straight ahead hard rock, nothing more nothing less. Only recommended for hard core completists.

From: Remastered Reason Date: January 19, 2006 at 9:55
An average hard rock album. A nice ballad in 'Beautiful Dreamer' & a stab at the commercial market in '25 Hours a Day' . Overall, hardly a monumental debut in rock history but still worth a nostalgic spin every blue moon.

Got into this LP after all the 80s works of Y&T. It surely is raw enough, with a live feel, but shows the way for what Dave and Co. would come up with in the next decade. Not a must-have but surely a good addition to your collection.

From: hair metal again Date: September 13, 2012 at 12:29
excellent debut by those youngsters that showed from the beginning what it was to come !great guitar work ,passionate vocs, many good songs and the band seems to enjoy it very much!"my heart plays too","beautiful dreamer","animal women" are the highlights of this fine release that helped set the standards of the 80 s hard rock scene!
