Not quite as good as their 1st lp., but nevertheless better than anything following this release. Y&T first two records should be must for all hard-rock fans. |

I don't agree with M.T. because this second effort from Y&T is far better than their first and a must for every hardrock fan !! Only the production could be a lot better. This is the best pure hardrock band of all times and Earthshaker is their masterpiece, a milestone in history of hardrock. Go and search that one at any price because that is real CLASS, an all time CLASSIC !!!!! |

This is together with Legs Diamond the best pure hardrockact ever and this is a pretty wild affair. Only the production could be better. But every home should have their MASTERPIECE 'EARTHSHAKER', without any doubt the VERY BEST HARDROCK CD EVER !!! Strange it is not on Heavy Harmonies yet ? ! But you should have it, otherwise you'll never know what great hardrock is all about ! |

I agree with M.T. only inasmuch as it not being as good as the first. But better than anything that followed it??? Anyway, way too much flange used on this album. Highlights for me were the title song, "Road" and "Nasty Sadie". Always wondered why it was three years before Y&T released another album. |

This is far better than their first ! But 'Earthshaker' is the greatest piece of hardrock ever, made by these guys ! That's their real masterpiece ! |

Your basic late 70's sounding rock, I do like the title track, it kicks ass, I think better production would have suited this album nicely. It's still a pretty decent album. |

3 out of 5 comments by Freaky? If average hard rock is your thing this is okay. As noted before, I love this band but this isn't great. Nothing really memorable, but valiant effort for the time. I'm not as enthusiastic as the other posters, but it's not the worst I've heard. |
