| When I first listened to this one I thought ' what the f%"k happened to this great band. In a way I still do, but now I accept the change they made here. The tracks might NOT be as good as previous releases, but DAMN the guitar playing is good.

| Just picked this one up,and so far have heard the first 6 songs. Let me tell ya, Y&T run through a range of songs on this one. First, let me say that the first few songs are TOO long. A song has to be REALLY special to hold my attention for 6+ minutes.Now, "Cold Day in Hell" is an awesome tune,and laced with sex!Next, they switch gears on "I've Got My Own",and tell you that they don't need your religion, or your views,they've got their own.And finally, of the songs I've heard, "Nowhere Land"...

| This is Y & T's poorest album but its still pretty good. Very eclectic and unlike any of their other material. Still very obviously the same band, just not as accessible. It sounds like they were being indulgent and just playing what they wanted. 7/10

| The return of Y&T was a musical milestone in 1996, at least for me. I really needed to hear some good hard rock as an antidote to the shitty alternative rock that was ruling the airwaves. For the fans, Y&T will always be, our little secret.

| Y&T should have stayed retired. Very tired sounding hard blues rock. Better than the last couple discs, but still nothing compared to Black Tiger and Earthshaker. 5/10

| This is NOT a poor album. It is very different to what they recorded before. This is excellent blues rock interspersed with a couple of funk guitar mixes. Earthshaker was exuberance of youth which they cannot recapture in their later years. This would appeal to mature listeners who appreciate quality musicianship when he/she hears it. Relaxing with whisky at hand, this is an excellent recording and a forerunner to what we would hear in Mr. Meniketti's solo career. Rocktron from London, England.

| The title here is pretty correct. It ain't a bad album, it really isn't, but it isn't a patch on past works and really sounds quite lacklustre. My fave is probably 'No regrets', but overall it's decent hard rock at best... but really not very great. Nothing inspiring to be found on this one unfortunately.

I agree with Geoff's comment...really a nice album but with a different approach...still it gets thumbs up  ...my fave tracks are "Long Way Down","Fly Away"(kinda funk rock song with some Hendrix influence),"Cold Day In Hell" (  ),"I've Got My Own","Twenty First Century" & "I'm Lost"...interesting stuff...92/100

| very good release by the mighty Y&T!these guyz didnt ever released a bad tune!the mood has gone darker ,but this is classic hard rock with excellent guitars and vocs by Dave and fine songs like "cold day in hell","quickdand" and "no regrets".what a great band!
