The singer sounds like a less-apeshit version of David Lee Roth, and the music is flawlessly produced, KICK-ASS American style hard rock. What I love about this CD is the way the songs build and gather intensity each time the next chorus hits: "Hot Legs" and "Need Your Lovin" are perfect examples. Other KILLER tracks on this CD: "Little Angel", "Rock Dolls", "Moving", "Rock Me" and "Hit and Run". This is a cult classic, and a long overdue addition to Heavy Harmonies.

Sadly this band has split up long time ago. They could beside TNT be Norways best hard rock band, but the singer decided to drop out for a sollo carreere. Out of 2 records they released this one is the best... ENJOY.

Great band from Norway....very bluesy but at the same time very rockin'...what i most like in this album is this "lickin'" guitar, no "break fingers solos" but solos that are played with a lot of feeling and passion.....very underrated band....CHECK THIS!!

The name calls for trouble,A Danish Band has been releasing under this name since ca. 1980 - check out EP "Cold winds" if you can find it,Punk meets metal (no sum 41 here !).

Excellent release all round - superb singer aswell, great bluesy voice. Definately one of the top scandi releases of the era (and there were quite a few good ones) although this, as mentioned has a more bluesy sound than the Treat, Fate, Skagarack sound. The follow up (Messing With The Blues) was excellent aswell. Definately worth tracking down.

Oh yes indeed, this is a brilliant release. Stumbled across it a couple of years ago and have loved it ever since. Perfectly played and excecuted melodic hard rock, with killer riffs and killer songs. Check out the anthem opener 'Need your lovin', the riff hungry tunes like 'Little angel', 'Rock me', 'On fire' and 'Hit and run'. What choruses, all over the place! And that beautiful ballad, 'Surrender'! Oh my, what a killer melodic hard rock release!!! Highly recommended. Guitarist is in Wig Wam!

I bought the album in 91 and remember the joy I had as it was yesterday. Unfortunately I was so stupid I gave it away, without realizing I was already addicted. Last night (December 2004) I got so desperate for real quality rock music I decided to search for the album again. That's how I landed on this page. Do you understand how good the album is now?

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 23, 2005 at 21:22

From: Pudelrockarn Date: August 22, 2008 at 9:07
Another cult classic! 9,5/10 Back in the 90's I couldn't stopped listened to Hit and Run and Rock Dolls. Timeless masterpiece!

If you lie in bed all night dreaming of big guitars, big hooks, big choruses, big backing vocals and all around big appeal, then this CD will probably cause the pleasurable but unfortunate eruption of a sticky wet stain on the front of your pajamas. For some reason, these guys have always reminded me of Hurricane, high-quality 80s-style hard rock perfect for a top-down, hot summer day cruise with the sun on your face, the wind in your hair, your foot heavy on the gas...and the cops in your rearview mirror, cherry lights awhirlin'. Of course, once the officer hears your great taste in music blasting from the stereo, he'll no doubt let you off with just a friendly warning. So you see, not only is this a really good melodic hard rock album, but it can also get you out of speeding tickets.

First:This is not A Rock Album,it´s defently Hardrock with a shot of Western Blues in it!!Each song is really a Killer!!Think Shouter now is singing by Wig Wam!!!One of my first Hardrock Bands in the end of the 80´s and one of the best who brings Rhythm in my Rock Life!!

From: the rocker Date: July 1, 2011 at 16:29
It's the guitarist that is now in Wig Wam.

this swedish band don t play typical scandi a o r.absoluty not.they plays an american hard rock tainted blues.it s a great record but far far away of the masters like little caesar ,tangier or sheela (first album).not really my cup of tea.

From: 123charpenay Date: October 21, 2017 at 15:10
