Disappointing stuff from mr. Curci ! This is way to laidback to grab and hold your attention for a while. No, the man can better, he proved it !

From: Rycheage Date: July 17, 2004 at 15:28
I agree. Freddy Curci can do much better than this. It is way too laid back and seems like he is just going through the motions. He has shown what talent he has and let's hope he can release something better.

Agree with the other comments here, very laid-back and pretty weak material. Only the track "Perfect World" offers up anything close to the Alias stuff, the rest is (despite the usual vocal excellence) pretty average. 5/10.

Alias really missed a great chance. Their debut went 4 singles deep & had huge success. Why did they pull a Nelson & not release a followup in the next couple years? In the case of Alias, the closest thing to a follow-up was this CD: "Dreamer's Road". This is Alias lite. "Brown Eyed Girl" was a bad choice for leadoff track & 1st single (Alanis Morissette sings on it BTW). Some mid-album highlights, a good title track and the previously released "Into the Fire" & "Perfect World" salvage this one.

According to melodicrock.com: "Freddy Curci has finally completed the recording of the Zion debut album. Some of the songs that will appear on the album are Crash The Mirror (Devil's Doing Me), No Surprise, Coming Home, Who Do You Think You Are, Sky Is Falling and Avalon." They also have a 1:30 soundbyte of a song called "Dangerous". It's raw and unmixed but sounds pretty good.

What a graet voice... It's not Alias, but not a bad album though. Tracks like ''Perfect world'' or recorded but GREGG TRIPP ''I Don't Want To Live Without You '' for the KUFFS movie before, show how good Cruci is.''Diamonds'' is a nice ballad.

From: Geoff Date: March 8, 2005 at 19:44
Unfortunately this is almost as weak as everyone above says. Obviously the debut Alias is much better and the unreleased 2nd CD is also much better than this, and also features two of this album's best tracks - 'All I want is you' and 'Diamonds'. Both are done much better by Alias, espeically 'Diamonds', but both are nice ballads. 'Dreamers road' and 'Perfect world' are good too. But as everyone above says, way too laid back overall.

"Dreamer´s Road", "Perfect World" (escrita por Glen Burtnick, su versión original en el "Talking in Code" es muy buena como ésta de Curci), "I Don´t Want..", "All I Want Is You", "Real Love" y "Into the Fire" las mejores. 8.5/10

A few of these songs were set to be released on the second Alias album. Those tracks being Diamonds, All I Want Is You, and Life Goes On. Alias II - now that should have been released!!
