well,well,well....what can i say...an englishman at the vocals and a cowboy at the guitars and what do you get? simply an explosive mixture of excellent hard rock a la heartland but obviously sounding more american and i would even say more commercial than the brits.this is a very fine album of classy hard rock with an edge so get your asses moving and go get this you wont regret it believe me!.

Great album, catchy songs. Definitely worth a listen.

From: robert Date: November 26, 2003 at 20:37

From: xavieskay Date: May 8, 2004 at 9:00

Wow, this certainly makes Heartland look like a waste of time. What an album! Great melodic rock / AOR the whole way through with some truly cracking tracks. I think it's the last one which edges out the rest as my fave song, but overall a very worthwhile album, and an example of what Heartland could sound like had they maintainted the quality of their debut.

Really good cd with Chris Ousey as the frontman.Hard rock with aor touches here and there.Hope Chris reunite one day Virginia Wolf.

From: juan carlos Date: April 8, 2007 at 12:32
Hey.. 'Brighter You Burn' 'Woman in your Head', la lenta 'Life Got in the Way',

From: juan carlos Date: April 8, 2007 at 13:00
..'On the Tail of Hurricane'(mi 3º fav.), 'Human Race', la lenta 'Something My Heart Has to Take', la super pegajosa y comercial 'One More Second Chance'(mi 2º fav.) o ese super-temazo llamado 'Hand in Hand With Love' mi favorita sin dudarlo.

From: juan carlos Date: April 8, 2007 at 17:04
Brian Howe, Benny Mardones, Terry Brock, Al Fridscht, Eddie Money, Lou Gramm, Jim Jidhed, Mark Free, Jimi Jamison Etc. Cuestión de gustos, saludasos.

From: Carlos A. Date: April 9, 2007 at 13:41
And boys...Don´t figth for nothing, just talk bout rock!!

From: juan carlos Date: April 9, 2007 at 22:46
Saludos.

Great Melodic Rock/AOR album, CHRIS OUSEY RULES!!! vaya y me quede sin comentar lo grande de este trabajo y es que este cantante tiene una voz unica y en las bandas que a estado Virginia y en especial la tremenda trayectoria en Heartland avalan con creces su magnitud, referente a este Gran trabajo Hand in Hand With Love, One More Second Chance, I Wanna Have It All, Brighter You Burn, On the Tail of Hurricane, Human Race... onda Heartland y obviamente un disco que debes de tener 9/10

From: z4roxx Date: July 5, 2007 at 16:13

From: coverdale14 Date: November 13, 2007 at 19:04
ESTE CD ES ESPECTACULAR PARA MI EL MEJOR DE LOS DOS DE THE DISTANCE.I WANNA HAVE IT ALL ABRE RECORDANDONOS CON LO QUE HACIA YA CON LOS HEARTLAND DE MORRIS,BRIGHTER YOU BURN QUIZA LA MAS HARD-AOR,PERO AQUI ON THE TAIL OF HURRICANE AOR MAJESTUOSO,SOMETHING MY HEART HAS TO TAKE OTRO HIMNO AL AOR DE MIS FAVORITAS,HAND IN HAND WITH LOVE EXCELENTE COMPOSICION PARA MI LA MEJOR,CIERRA CON BROCHE DE ORO ONE MORE SECOND CHANCE. 10/10. LARGA VIDA OUSEY-CHAOS Y POR SUPUESTO AL HARD-AOR.

From: PODEROSO YIRO Date: December 2, 2007 at 12:50
Contundente Melodic Rock!!.

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: December 10, 2007 at 20:05

From: lalorock Date: March 20, 2008 at 13:33
Cierto que I wanna have it all es a lo Heartland, excelente tema!,que conlleva a esa entrada de un helicóptero del 2º tema y mi favorito Brighter you burn Hard Rock con esa inmensa voz de Chris Ousey que encaja a la perfección, y los solos del final del tema por parte del mago de las 6 cuerdas Kenny Kaos te llevan al cielo,On the tail...AOR puro,Life got in the way gran balada,Woman in your head es más Virginia wolf por sus coros,Human race otro temazo, riffs duros, gran voz, solos mágicos paraq mas

From: DanDare Date: October 23, 2010 at 9:47
Another cheaply bought CD, of which I knew nothing before and the thing blew me away. The mullets on the cover aside, this is a great album of melodic rock and for me 'Brighter You Burn' really stands out as an excellent track. Well worth the 99p that I paid for it.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 22, 2011 at 19:11
Yeah guys..Chris Ousey is a marvellous vocalist no doubt about it...i wrote a comment way back in 2006...ummm..Hard Rock??..thinking it twice i'd say AOR with some rock moments here and there but basically an AOR release...best shots are "I Wanna Have It All","On The Tail Of Hurricane"( ),"Life Got In The Way" (nice soft),"Woman In Your Head"(rocks),"Something My Heart Has To Take"(nice ballad)..."Written In Stone" & "One More Second Chance" are top notch songs!!!.really good to have this one...91/100

From: halfordhughes Date: June 26, 2011 at 9:23
