DT offers another view from the top of the progressive metal world, and I must admit that this view is captivating. The whole album is pleasantly varied and rolling by, despite the shortest song having almost 6 and a half minutes. This is because of (IMO) a good balance between emotions and virtuosity, like metallic RUSH would do that... Grammy fully deserved (...and not only for "The Alien"). 85/100. |
