2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from ZZ Top are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| Buy the albums (first up to fandango), not the "so-called" best of. Thatīs what the tradition and a blues-boogie-rock legend deserves.

| For a few years, this was the only way to get the original mixes of these classics, rather than the awful '80's-ified versions that first reared their ugly heads on the Six-Pack compilation. Now that all the pre-Eliminator albums have been reissued on CD in their original form (even Deguello has finally made it onto streaming services in its entirety), this is an unnecessary release. If you see it on vinyl in the gift shop at Cracker Barrel and just have to have it, fair enough. Otherwise, get the albums and jam all day!
