If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular ZZ Top CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from ZZ Top are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

No comments here!!!...oh my God!!!...well the only thing i can tell you is that if you want to know how a southern boogie rock'n'roll band should sound live, then get this one!!!...no waste of money guaranteed!!!..."Backdoor Medley" (9:51 minutes of pure energy especially Mr Beard's job!!!).95/100...recommended to new southern rock acts...and i'm talkin about an album that was released 34 years ago....buy and enjoy!!!.

It's really a shame the guys couldn't come up with just four more songs, because the six studio tracks here are easily as good as anything on Tres Hombres. "Tush" has been played to death on classic-rock radio, but is still a rollicking, sleazy good time. "Heard It On The X" has ZZ Top playing at top speed, its title referring to Mexican radio stations the guys liked to listen to (call letters beginning with the X instead of the American W or K). And "Nasty Dogs And Funky Kings" is one of their all-time unsung gems. But, unfortunately, the live side of the album is surprisingly not very good. "Jailhouse rock" is a tossed-off cover (and you get two versions on the reissue, which is really two too many), and "Backdoor Medley" was probably fun if you were at the show, but on record just seems to go on forever without going anywhere.
