i played the openingtune of this album 3 times in a row because it's so cool...this is a very good release.. Did they release anything else? batcave777@yahoo.com

From: selfish@tlen.pl Date: April 25, 2003 at 15:00
Cool release ! I love 80's AOR sound, but this one is cool. It hard to make something good in modern times, and ignition did it. My fav. track on this album is ''fire with fire''. I also recommend bands like ON the rise, and Jim Jidhed last release ''full circle''.

From: Andy Date: June 11, 2003 at 13:29
Imagine 'GIANT' with FM's Steve Overland on vocals & you have Ignition,GOOD album but nothing more.

From: David Date: June 11, 2003 at 13:46
Andy, I can't put Giant & nothing more than good in the one thought.

From: Andy Date: June 27, 2003 at 15:12
I agree Dave,GIANT are a much better band than Ignition (but can you hear the likeness?).

From: Rycheage Date: July 2, 2003 at 21:03
The production quality is there, the song quality is there, the power and conviction of delivery is there. This is a great hard rock debut from another classy Swedish band. This album will find a lot of fans in the melodic community. My only hesitation is the vocalist's style, but repeated listening finds him growing on you also.

From: Spiderman[UK] Date: August 13, 2003 at 16:18
This is the dogs gonads. Great vocals and the overall production is spot on. More of the same please

From: Date: October 7, 2003 at 19:13
really a bad crap here...giant?r u nuts?this is crap...2/10...don't waste money or time download it

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 8, 2003 at 0:38
'Fire With Fire' is the only decent tune on this cd. . . If they had gotten a better singer then this cd might have been better.

From: Cherokee1975 Date: October 29, 2003 at 17:36
peazo de album, la madre que los parió, y... ¿sonido de los 80? pos si

From: shoemaker Date: November 8, 2003 at 11:37
A very good hardrock album, a mix of shakra and ten in my opinion. The track 'Babylon' is outstanding brilliant, 'Fire with fire' and 'First to cry' are fine hardrocktunes. Fans of melodichardrock should risk an ear!!!

THIS IS THE BEST CD RELEASED IN 2003.NOT ONE BAD SONG ON THIS BRILLIANT ROCK ALBUM!10 OUT OF 10

From: TIM (2) Date: June 15, 2004 at 5:31
High quality scandi melodic rock, with some good tunes courtesy of a few outside writers. The Cliff Magness' penned 'Fire With Fire' is probably the highlight, but a poor mixing job means you can't hear the keyboards at all on this, which probably makes it sound more like latter day Treat than the Giant comparisons. Good stuff though.

From: David Date: October 23, 2004 at 7:23
The more I listen to this awesome cd the more I hear the Giant comparisons. Excellent disc for the year of 2003!!!

From: Geoff Date: February 10, 2005 at 6:16
This is great, was just listening to all these CDs the other day! This is a great one too. 'Tell me your mine' is the clear highlight and a marvel of melodic hard rock. 'You can't fool me no more' and 'Goodbye to the good times' are two more killer tracks. This is a great CD and the guy is a dead ringer for FM's Steve Overland at times. I'd love to hear another CD because they did really well here. Musically awesome too. Recommended.

From: TIM (2) Date: March 21, 2005 at 15:39
Anyone who likes the vocals on this should check out Johansen's solo discs. They're more pure AOR than this, but the man can really sing with the best of 'em. His 'S/T' and 'X my Heart' are essential slices of AOR - with the others sung in Swedish I think.

From: masmusic Date: May 10, 2005 at 9:22
First received copy of this release on a CDR, I liked it so much that I purchased the original. Some guitar riffs sound like Jimmy Page and the vocalist reminds me of Paul Rodgers. Anyone who has not heard this Cd I suggest you give it a spin. You won't be disapointed

From: HARD/AOR Date: May 21, 2005 at 9:05
Un buen disco de Hard/Aor como los nordicos saben hacer. Buenos estribillos con coros pegadizos. Recomendable. Solo tengo este disco. ¿Alguien sabe si tienen mas discos?

From: JF Date: August 9, 2005 at 20:13

Maybe it’s one of the best cd of this new kind of pomp rock/aor from Scandinavia. It’s evidenti f you listen to phones to grab some particolar arrangments and musicians’ capacities except again the singer that sometimes it’s Ok but other times is pretty a pity but…this cd is fantastic IMO.It contains only very good songs with some great killer songs and a mega-hit called”First to cry”who I consider one of the best songs heard in the last years. If you like the first Token cd this one is better!!

From: z4roxx Date: February 16, 2007 at 13:52
Nevermind if you like or not this band or especially the singer but you must got asap his solo cd called'X my heart'(2003).I think it's one of the greatest solo cds'since a long time.It contains 3 marvellous duets with 3 different women and two of those are simply awesome('X my heart'with Mia Lofgren and'Let the spirit fly'with Pernilla Wahlgren). Please if you know some infos'about these 2 girls let me know.BTW this cd is spectacular,10/10 indeed!!!

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: October 22, 2007 at 13:31
GREAT CD 87/100 GREAT SCANDI AOR like STREET TALK/SKAGARACK with some ENGLISH MELODIC ROCK influences like FM/VIRGINIA WOLF/HEARTLAND JAN JOHANSEN is a good singer with a solo career in a softer way PONTUS EGBERG is from STEAMROLLER/LION'S SHARE later with THE POODLES/DARK ILLUSION imo in SWEDEN there is something in the water

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: November 9, 2007 at 21:05
Un decente album con toques Melodic Rock'n'roll algo pesado y con algunos temas abiertos como lo es 'Tell Me You're Mone, You Can't Fool No More, Babulon, Frist To Cry & Times Is Running Out' lo unico que rescato de este disco el resto de temas en su plan Melodico desanimador nada fuera de lo comun...

From: Japangea Date: November 27, 2008 at 3:49
John Norum-ish nice metallic Hard Rock. They should have released some more materials as they are great.
