Good, solid album with some quality songs. The whole thing sounds very 'Nice', but that is the main problem here, nothing that challenges the listener, offers anything remotely new or really gets the heart pumping. Overall, a good, pleasant AOR album, but nothing earthshattering and certainly not as good as the excellent debut. |

Pretty much have to agree with Jez here. It's pretty decent, but the debut set a high standard and this does not even come close to living up to that standard. Pretty good disc, bordering very close on being average. Very safe. |

the first time i listen this cd s i was disapointed, but after several spins my opinion is different.this album is more hard than the first but not better.this album have not the class and the hooklines of the first effort.nevertheless it is a very great a o r cd s.the production is clear and powerful.perfect!ok there is some fillers the two ballads tracks 4 and 14(the japan bonus track) track 6 and track 2 with his choruse very weak limit ridiculous.the rest is a bunch of very goods a o r songs. |

yep i agree with most comments above, good AOR with some catchy tunes/Melodies. "Lifeline" and the only ballad "Edellyn" are my favorite tracks, but i prefer their album debut because is better IMO. 8/10 |

Very decent cd, with Lifeline (brilliant) and Why Wait Another Day (listen to the lead guitar solos) as the obvious highlights. |

very good release for ON THE RISE that is more a project than a band !nice melodic lines ,fine musicuianship ,remarkable songwriting and overall a satisfying performance is offered but you may need a few spins to realise that!"lifeline",'lost your track " and "why wait another day" are the highlights |
