Good one this - Westcoast/ Pop from Sweden. Reminds me a little of Toto, and the mighty Jojo from Germany, although a little lighter than them. Some very good tracks on this 'Let Me Let You Go', 'On The Path Of Greed'and the awesome 'Hearts To The Flame'. My only complaint with this is at 35 minutes it is way too short. A Good 'un |

i agree totally with jez. very nice album indeed. catchy tunes. but way too short. 35 minutes only ! well these guys know what to do for the second album. so if you like coastline, t-bell, final frontier you certainly must get this in your collection. erikhardam@hetnet.nl |

It's a pleasant excursion which travels around the fringes of West Coast, AOR, and melodic Euro-pop. The formula applied by Coastland Ride is one that's been played and heard many times before. What they do well is combine aspects of eighties melodic pop with todays current styles. As always you can rely on Swedish acts coming to the party with ample amounts of melody and harmony, and Coastland Ride do not disappoint in that regard. |

Good debut album and much better than its following one...catchy like Marcio Tex said,is the best way 2 describe it ..."Let Me Let You Go","On The Path Of Greed","Hearts To The Flame","Believe In Me","Eyes" & "Sleepless"(nice soft song)are my faves...the bonus tracks are kinda simple songs IMO...recommended...85/100 |
