Hi guys! PUSH is no more but Martie Peters lives on with a new solo album coming out this year. Go to WWW.MARTIEPETERS.COM for more info. Thanks, Matt |

As does the style on this album vary, so does the production. At times it's as smooth as one would expect based on past experiences, but at other times - especially on those heavier tracks, it's rawer and maybe not as complete as it could have been. In fact, of the entire selection of AOR tracks, there really aren't any fillers. It's helps to have a fondness for Martie's voice, as it has it's own style. But it's when things turn heavy that we begin to see a drop in song quality and production. |

I was initially devestated with this release. One of the things I loved so much about all previous Push releases was the big heavy sound. Gone is that and in its place is an almost demo-quality production job. When you get around that, you discover the songs are as good as before, and even better in places. 'Heart is an empty space' is almost as stunning as 'Waitin' in the line', 'Time to let you know' is beautiful, 'Lucky man' is a melodic gem and the last two are killer outtakes from last CD. |

Push one of my fave band in the last years indeed.I like White Lion and I like these guys too, maybe more melodick than White Lion but very close to their style. This cd is good but their best are the first 2 with some killer tracks also in this one and in"on the run"cd.Heard all mp3 songs of the new solo by Martie Peters,It would be a good melodick cd indeed, same style as Push,I'll buy surely it.I like M.Peters voice and his vocals arrangments, too. |

This was my first encounter with PUSH. The production isn’t that good, neither is the cd overall. But I really like the song “Heart is an empty space”. Songs like “lucky man”, “The Best Thing”, “Just a Man” and “Black Candles” is good tunes as well. |
