| The songs on this album sound like classic rock from the mid to late 1970's. You hear traces of Kiss, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. The production is terrible, but the music is pretty good.

| Though never a huge Pantera guy, I always respected Dimebag's playing. His passing is very sad, and maybe equally as sad is the inevitable aftermath. We are very lucky to be able to see bands, sometimes in intimate environments, play live. A rock show is an exercise in passion, empowerment, love and respect. It's where like-minded people gather to hear bands that speak to them. That pact is rarely violated to the point it was last night. May it never happen again.

| This is a solid work of early 80s AOR and probably their best recording with Terry Glaze. Top tracks include the title track, "I'll Be Alright", "Biggest Part of Me", "Widowmaker" and "Ride My Rocket".

| "Glam-Tera's" debut album is an interesting historical piece but truthfully it's not a very good album (go for PROJECTS IN THE JUNGLE, I AM THE NIGHT or POWER METAL over this one). The production is absolutely terrible and the songs are average at best. You can tell this was an album made by teenagers trying to copy the sound of Def Leppard and Kiss. The intro to "Ride My Rocket" reminds me of Kiss' famed "You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best!" intro tape. They would become better with time!!

| Well, as we all know, Pantera's humble '83 debut is nothing like what they would become in the '90's. Metal Magic is made up of very average hard rock, like scrappy Crue or the most aggressive Twisted Sister. Really nothing special at all, but highly sought after since the band virtually disowned it. Standouts for me are "Ride My Rocket," "I'll Be Alright," "the smooth and melodic "Nothin' On But The Radio," and the frenzied title track.

| This Pantera CD sounds alot like KISS espically the first song Ride My Rocket i got this recently and i think it's rocks it may not be as good as Projects In The Jungle, I Am The Night or Power Metal but it still isn't bad either i love the song Nothin' On (But The Radio), Metal Magic, Ride My Rocket and Rock Out that song just flat out rocks this is very hard to find espically since the band disowns it i don't understand why their so modest and ashamed of their past because these first four CDS kick some serious ass and they rock hard i bet if the truth was known they had a lot of fun making these CDS at the time.
