Only one good song "Don´t be a hero". The rest is dull!!!

From: vandervelde Date: November 20, 2003 at 18:11
They sound exactly like german Dominoe (or Dominoe sound like this because Outside was first!)....a lot of keys, great melodies, in two words GREAT AOR...I love this cd 9/10

VERY GOOD BUT THE SECOND IS MASTERPIECE.GREAT BAND.

From: bernardito Date: June 19, 2004 at 20:16

From: bernardito Date: August 16, 2004 at 1:27

From: aorlover Date: August 16, 2004 at 1:38
excellent band, but SADLY the voice of the singer is HORRIBLE!!!

From: Geoff Date: August 16, 2004 at 1:59
Shoemaker almost had it, just the wrong way around. 'Don't be a hero' is a dodgy track, but the rest is excellent. As noted previously, I do much prefer melodic hard rock to AOR, but every now and then a release like this comes along and blows my mind. I love this CD and almost every track on it. Great stuff. Too many to mention separately... 8.5/10

From: tokio blade Date: March 15, 2005 at 14:22

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 23, 2005 at 0:28
KILLER), Don't Be a Hero(un tema a medio tiempo WRECKER), Don't Leave Me Tonight, Heartbreaker, Heartbeat Away, Wait, Louella ...

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 23, 2005 at 0:30
Saludos Hermanos.

this is slightly better than there second cd heres the verdict--IT STILL SUCKS!--this guy is horrible as a lead vocalist the music sounds like late 70's early 80's at best-its CHEESY! dont buy this cd your wasting your money dont even get it burned its not worth the postage i couldnt give either 1 of this bands cds to anyone without catching crap for wasting a cdr on them---they suck

From: AOR freaky Date: August 16, 2005 at 14:15
SIMPLY STUNNING CD ! Fantastic poppy AOR ! Very catchy !!!

From: SCANDI Date: August 16, 2005 at 14:41
I never got into this one - the second I really like. This one's very "cooly" & poppy radio stuff. I think their second effort is more serious and better structured.

From: z4roxx Date: October 31, 2005 at 11:46
Wow!!This is the true aor, every single moments is a hit IMO.It’s difficult to choose a song, and I choose all the material from this band that was awesome!!!Anyone knows if they reissue somethin’form their old material under the names of Blackfoot Sue and Liner?

From: PAUL Date: December 26, 2005 at 15:45
Fantastic AOR from the twin brothers Tom and David Farmer. Excellent from the 1st to the last track...Merry Christmas!

From: swriter Date: December 26, 2005 at 19:07
wow, another band I never heard of, is this one available????

From: metalguf Date: March 13, 2006 at 10:12
You thing this guys are any good, but no.. They suck big time. Tom Farmer sings awful, the sound is pretty good but that's all. A big disappointment!!!

From: juan carlos Date: February 2, 2007 at 23:28

From: sanxdowntherainbow Date: February 20, 2007 at 20:59
Great cd, has a lot of keyboards (great thing!) but personally i dont like Tom Farmer's voice. The songs are great, Pure 80's energy! 9/10

From: lalorock Date: June 23, 2007 at 17:58

From: Carlos A. Date: July 14, 2007 at 12:22
Otro disco magico VALIO LA PENA!!!

From: kipvanpearcy Date: February 26, 2008 at 13:46
This is good AOR, the vocalist isn't very good though.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 17, 2010 at 18:50
Nice AOR/POP album, the one that you can listen happily all the time...some great songs such as "Heartbeat Away"(killer starter),"Wait"(wonderful and my favourite one),"Don't Be A Hero","Running Hot" and so on...their second album also is great but i prefer this one over their second release.88/100

From: BDrums1971 Date: April 15, 2012 at 15:58
Nice effort, but I just can't get past the singer's poor voice. Too bad, because with a good singer, I think I would really love this band.

This could have been so much better if it hadn't been for the dodgy vocals throughout this disc. Absolutely No problems with any of the songs on here, some of which are terrific AOR, but the vocals really spoil the whole thing for me. Thankfully that was put right for the 2nd and superior album 'More Eedge'.

From: hair metal again Date: August 28, 2017 at 4:57
a clear masterpiece of a debut that didnt come out back in the day because of the closing down of VIRGIN 10 and finally got to see the light of day a few years ago!fantastic sound &approach, thrilling vocals &lines and sensational smooth songs are offered here for a band that had everything!OUTSIDE EDGE along with FM,RIO,VIRGINIA WOLF,TORINO ,DARE etc.... creating a strong UK scene that i deeply love!essential

From: 123charpenay Date: August 29, 2017 at 6:36
totally agree with jez.musically it s really excellent with a top class production, but the singer have a strange voice absoluty not adapted to aor music.
