Another very solid indie, recommended to anyone who enjoys the sleazier side of hard rock.

OK, I'll be the dirty SOB who says negative things about this overhyped, overrated, overpriced indie. Some folks would give both their nuts to snag this rarity, but the music doesn't justify that kind of demand. It's a decent enough slab of sleaze-hair-metal, but the thin production & lack of power prevent this from being a piece worth praising. Aside from "Here Kitty Kitty," the band struggles to come up with a really good song. Of course, that's just my two cents' worth...

Tattoo Rodeo has an album with the same name. 'Rode Hard~Put Away Wet', but their album came out in 1991.

Actually this cd is called "rode hard and put up wet", while the tattoo rodeo cd is called "rode hard and put away wet", not much of a difference but there is a difference.

What are you talking about? That's not what it says at the top of this page. Is it a typo?.... Also, the Tattoo Rodeo CD is called 'Rode Hard ~ Put Away Wet'. The word "and" is not in the name. I guess I told you, didn't I.

Grunge killed these guys. They should have been big. They were one of the hottest acts I've ever seen. Great vocalist, great guitars, great great great... Their records never did them justice. From what I understand they were pretty big in the Europe underground scene but couldn't tour due to band issues. Just the price of their cd's on Ebay ($40-$100) should tell you something. Rock On Guys

Hey Kev! I'm impressed - still in demand after all these years. I havn't heard it yet, but I am sure it's good. Say - whatever happened to the Flocka (sp?) couch . BTW - I think I still have a copy of the cassette and cover we did for the SWMT demo. Maybe I should sell it on Ebay .

Hey Kevin, Robert and Rees! Funny to find this! Rees, I heard you are in real estate; I'm in mortgage. However, I may be doing a music video shoot this coming Monday. Plus, it's time for South By Southwest! Anyone coming?

Not bad at all. Good sound, very consistent, but not really containing outright gems. Fans of good solid 80's commercial style hard rock will enjoy this one though... like most "Dirty..." band name releases. Very enjoyable disc.

Not a bad release, but not fantastic either in my opinion. These guys were obviously talented enough, but during the early to mid 90's it seemed like you had way too many bands sounding similiar to this. These guys kinda sounded like POISON in their sleazier days; maybe a liitle bit of G'NR musically as well. I just couldn't find a reason to seperate this release from the rest of the pack. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Agree with the good comments above ..this act sounded to me like Ugly Kid Joe at times, even the voice of Kevin Ray has some reminiscences of Whitfield Crane here and there..."Two Fisted Bastard" rocks,"Bootstraps" & "Here Kitty Kitty" both are ones,"Whiskey Bay" has an incredible swing, loved it,"This Is Life (America's Going By)" here is where you can hear that UKJ influence pretty hard & "Stop Wasting My Time" ends the story very good...highly recommended album!!!...92/100
