I'm sorry, but this guy is soooooo over rated!! I have heard waaaaaay to much about this guy, and he isn't worth even thinking about. Sorry, but it's true!..........................................

Kuni- Looking For Action is about the only one he did that I cared for.

Jeff Scott Soto is one of the great rock singers of our time. With that said, the problem is I can only think of one project that showcased his talents properly, that was Steel Dragon (Rock Star Movie). Everything else including this release comes up short. Problem is he is a fantastic singer but a poor song writer. In the right band Jeff would be Incredible!

Jeff Scott Soto is a great band singer but has no business trying a solo career.I think his talents were shown on the first couple Talisman albums,as well as the Eyes but my favorite is his release with AXEL RUDI PEL,ETERNAL PRISONER,

I like the early Takara and Talisman material he did, and his work with Axel Rudi Pell was excellent, but the standout performances for me are: (1) "Rich Girl" soundtrack (never released), (2) Skrapp Mettle (funny stuff, a complete rip on the music industry), and (3) my favorite: the soundtrack to the BBC animated TV series "Biker Mice From Mars". VERY campy, but he does great covers of Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" and the Doobie Brothers' "Rockin' Down the Highway". It's getting tougher to find on CD. See info here.

Just gotta say I saw Jeff at the Gods and he just about blew everyone else off stage!!! With the exception of Harem Scarem, we reckon he went around sucking all the charisma out of the other bands( esp. TEN who just sucked, very dissapointing)! Anyway, before anyone discounts Jeff, you should go see him LIVE. I had hardly heard of him 'till The Gods, last year (2002)in Bradford. Excellent gig (except for TEN). Oh, and you should check out his work with Humanimal, pretty good stuff.

Like Knuckles said, all he needs are some good, PERMENANT, talented band members n go off n write an excellent ROCK album, then another n another.... You get the idea, hope your reading this Jeff ;-)

for me, Jeff Scott Soto is the more complete Singer in Rock, he has a powerfull voice and melody at the same time. He can Sing in any Rock style as: (Heavy-metal) Yngwie Malmsteen, Axel Rudi Pell, Kuni. (AOR): Eyes, Takara, Talisman, Human Clay, Gary Schutt. He´s just unique, incomparable!!! where´s are the rest of Jeff´s solo Albums.. Love Parade and Prism ?

Worth getting for the awesome cover of 'Send Her My Love' - superb. 'Holding on' is a good ballad from the excellent 'Prism' cd (must put that up here). The live tracks are from the recent ' Live At The Gods CD/ DVD and 4U is from the funky 'Love Parade' album - re-issued by frontiers this year - all good stuff and worth investing in.

This is the best EP I've ever heard.
