IAN PARRY IS A GREAT VOCALIST AND THIS CD SHOWS ALL HIS TALENT . IT'S A MIX OF HARD ROCK, BLUES , ALMOST IN THE SAME LINE OF HIS PERFORMANCE AS ELEGY VOCALIST . MR. ARJEN AS GUITARRIST IS VERY GOOD. 8/10 |

I never listen to this album but other VENGEANCE albums like ARABIA, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, WE HAVE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR ROCK or VENGEANCE are great hard rock/melodic metal albums from the 80s. One of my all time favorite dutch band together with PICTURE, ANGUS, VANDENBERG, HAMMERHAWK, TOGETHER, VORTEX, HELLOISE, SAD IRON and many many more. Do somebody remember the American band VENGEANCE??? I have a demo from 1986 named 'Predator'. |

Surprised 'Arabia' is not on this site. That is where the majority of Vengeance's best material comes from, and is the album most featured on this one. This is the only original release I have from these guys and to be honest, this 'Best of' is all you really need, though 'You took me by suprise' would have been the first song I'd have picked for this and it's not on here. Good, solid heavy rock band. They also have a mid 90's release called 'Back from Flight 19' which is okay too. |

Ian Parry? Who is this? A good singer? Yes it can be but absolutely inappropriate for Vengeance! I am an absolute Vengeance fan since my youth as 'We have ways to make you rock' came out but this album is not completely Vengeance! scrap! Hands off! |
From: Japangea | Date: May 7, 2012 at 5:17 |
This is a softer side of Vengeance with the great singer,Ian Parry.Seems someone who has crap ears does not like this but we all don't care. |
