ESCAPE FROM THE ROCK es DOKKEN total ( de los 80 ). En general es buen disco de hard rock con toques funk. |

Not surprised to see few comments on these guys, but I'm curious. I have artwork-less CDRs of these guys and thought they were a 70's AOR band. Lots of keys, but not very many good songs, IMO. |

Hey Geoff! These guys are from my city!I asked more years ago their leader Simone Falovo to become their drummer but I had no fortune!BTW that's a great pomp/aor band and a great surprise they are from Italy, excellent stuff IMO with some great killer arrangements and tunes, this cd is much"heavier"thanc the debut that I can recommend you.The ex-lead singer sung in a Toto cover band but they called my cousin to replace him!ahahahaha |

This is not as good as Due. A little funky influence. Some good songs:Escape from the rock,Rockin on the bad side, Still remember. 65/100 |

I never even heard of these guys and then one day I stumbled across this in a used cd shop. It's pretty decent AOR. I liked tracks 1 and 6 the best. |

I disagree with Geoff, judging by the Big City songs I heard on their Myspace (And other sources), tracks 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8 sound like great songs. "Rockin' On The Bad Side" is especially killer! Can't wait to hear the rest of the album! I really enjoy funk-AOR style in the same vein as Explorers and J. Geils Band. |

Fantastic Italian AOR band..this album (my first one of the band)caused me great satisfaction ...solid songs, perhaps the type of AOR that without being Hard AOR can be appealing for persons who likes AOR with an edgy side..."Rockin' On The Bad Side" & "Big City" both of excellent quality,"Latin Lover" great titled song with that funk rock vibe, pretty good,"Escape From The Rock","Lucille" & "Hitman Boogie"(this one starts as a rocking song and ends with a very nice jazz fusion) are also top notch ones...get this one a.s.a.p.!!!.92/100 |
