I was pretty impressed with these guys. If you like expensive bands that sound similar to Rush this is one you need. It starts out in a hard rock vein but shows progressive tendancies toward the end. I liked it though.

From: TIM Date: July 17, 2003 at 0:55
Didn't mean to imply these guys are Rush clones. They just get a bit experimental in places but it's basically hard rock in a similar style to Riddler.

From: TIM Date: July 17, 2003 at 0:56
A more aggressive Riddler I should say.

holy crap, this was my first CD ever!!!! i remeber some of the songs, but that was soo long ago, i need to find another copy somewhere, this is amazing, me and my brother were just talking and the track "Planet Under Seige" popped in his head, and it brought back soo many memories, this stuff is great!!! i just thought i would post my thanks to you 7th heaven!! keep the rock and live hardcore!!!

From: davis- Date: March 29, 2004 at 3:22
by the way, it was 1992 when the cd first came out that i got it... so ive been with these guys from the begining. my grandmother was freinds with one of the members moms i think, thats how we got the cd. it may have been dennis bush, but if any of you guys from the band read this, my emial is davidv_86@hotmail.com, i would love to hear from you guys, and see if i can get another copy of this CD!!

From: mike- Date: March 29, 2004 at 13:57
Yeah! When Davis sent me this site I was like... woah. I didn't think anybody knew this band. It defined rock for me as well as my hardcore lifestyle. We lived in Camas, WA when the band dropped this album and I think Dennis Bush or Brian Lawson mowed my Grandparents back yard a few times and we were given this album as a present! Good clean harmonies and killer rock sound. WOAHHHH OHHH OHHHH!

Just noticed the posts. We have people in the industry looking for these guy's to ask them to make a huge sponsored come back. According to our archives they have had a strange following that has lasted underground for over a decade. The lead singer seems to have developed some die hard fans based on his voice and style. If anyone finds them tell them to update there CD jackets with current info and prepare to come out of the woods and hear the calling. Peter : Sony Records

I work with Doug. He was surprised to even find that there was interest in 7th Heaven. (And he can still rock with the best of 'em)

Can someone tell me how I can get my hands on "Silver"? Even the song "Gravity" will do nicely. The band and that particular song are awesome. Definitely makes me nostalgic! Please e-mail me with information at purpledemoness@msn.com. Thanx!!!

From: Stevieb Date: July 24, 2004 at 10:08
just listened to Silver double CD - man this stuff is awesome as good as anything Ive heard in a long while. great Vocal harmony-excellent songs - melodic rock at its best.

From: TIM (2) Date: August 11, 2004 at 6:15
I don't have this album but I do have "Silver". 30 songs of Def Leppard/Winger style melodic rock with only about 3 or 4 fillers. This band is a real find, strong production, big harmonies, and ultra-catchy choruses.

From: Firestarter Date: November 18, 2004 at 0:00
Finally am getting my hands on "Silver" sometime this week(I hope). Thankfully, I found out that I can listen to all the songs on it till I get my CD on the band's website www.7thheavenband.com. Go there and support them, they rock!!

From: Rockhead Date: November 18, 2004 at 2:02
This 7th Heaven are not (I believe) the same band that recorded Silver.

From: Geoff Date: November 18, 2004 at 18:36
That is correct, Rockhead. These guys are a very different band to the guys who recorded 'Silver'. This is decent hard rock with a few cool tracks. A little better than I expected after the initial disappointment of realising it was not the same band as the brilliant 'Silver' discs, but overall I could easily have done without this one and wish I still had the money I paid for it...

Hey Geoff-We have all bought a "classic" only to find it is a classic turd!! Oh how I love Ebay LOL

From: TIM (2) Date: November 19, 2004 at 8:49
Hey Rockhead, You bought the new EUROPE album too then?? LOL

From: Delbert Date: January 9, 2010 at 18:11
This band is band plays some stellar melodic hard rock. With great vocal harmonies, superb guitar work and excellent production the band sounds very similar to KILLER DWARFS, but with has a more layered sound.

From: 707STAR Date: September 26, 2011 at 20:11
THIS CD IS WORTH BUYING. VERY GOOD MELODIC ROCK HERE. I OWN THIS. SINGER HAS A GREAT VOICE. THEY SORT OF SOUND LIKE RUSH AND MAYBE A LITTLE LIKE SHOOTING STAR, TREAT OR DA VINCI. WISH THEY MADE MORE MUSIC.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: June 15, 2012 at 22:55
Pleasant CCM band!!!...the album is nothing to kill for but it isn't neither a bad one...just an album that can go with the flow...707STAR had a point that i also noticed, the vocalist Doug Basler do sound like Geddy Lee of Rush from time to time("Rapture" is a 100% Rush influenced and the voice in here is like a "parody" of the man behind the Canadian three some)....about the songs i'd go for "Planet Under Siege","Shout","Child's Eyes","Daybreak","Stay"(nice) and the aforementioned "Rapture"...81/100
