Well, music nowadays is not completely dead and this album proves it!!!...what a release!!!...James is what i can call a "gentlemen of AOR"..."Lay It All On Me" is a superb song and along with "Don't Come Near Me" are my 2 faves, tracks 3,5,9 & 10 are also good ones...enjoyable record that keeps the AOR spirit alive & well .88/100

Is it House of Lords? Not really, but it doesn't need to me. This album is more accessible than James' main band, and the melodies are very strong throughout. The weak point IMO is the production...it's not terrible, but something about how his vocals come through here doesn't sound right to me. Still a good AOR album, probably more "AOR" than most House of Lords releases and whose songs can stand up with those of the newer era of HOL.
