Not as good as their 'Not so innocent' but still head and shoulders above the so called great AOR/melodic acts of these days (hello Harem Scarem etc. !, you still have to learn a lot from these guys !). Fantastic AOR, come back soon ,guys ! The AOR fans need a classic band like yours ! GREAT ! |

You did it again, you coward. What for a guy is doing such thing ? Stupid, childish. Where are the fans, Koogles and others to judge the idiot who likes destroying bands other people (me) like. Is this fair ? I try to give some people information about good AOR, nothing more ! |

Even better than the debut , with more of a Journey feel in places(check out the intro to 'In Between Dreams').'Broken Bodies is a fantastic track reminding me musically of of the great Noiseworks. Elsewhere they don't put a foot wrong except on the poor 'Animal Heads'with it's really weak chorus. Getting harder to find this now, so if you see it, grab it quickly. |

1995 was not a good year for melodic rock fans: only a few brilliant albums. This is one of them. Previously unreleased second effort for an American band with a Canadian feel, “Stranger Things Have Happened” contains dramatic melodies blended with an energetic magic touch, all played in a brisk pace. Unfortunately, a pair of Saga-like tracks interrupt the continuity, but this is still a great album and they have their own style, definitely. [91%] |

Now this was a damn fine AOR act ! Now a disco pop act ! ? Unbelievable ! A pity !!!! |
From: Erik | Date: March 23, 2005 at 11:27 |
Just one of those pretty "unknown" gems. Very very fine AOR indeed. 8,8/10 |

The two Bystander's CDs are essential to any good AOR collection. This second release in more in a progressive musical approach, while remaining energetic. This band knew the way to delivered well-crafted melodies in a very personal touch. Almost none fillers except of the weak 'Animal Heads' IMHO. Awesome AOR/prog disc ! |

hmmm...very unimpressed ..ok for background music while surfing the net...but nothing that you can really sit and enjoy. Just my humble opinion. |

Wow!This band sounds really fantastic to me.This is more mature than the other one but great anyway.I don't hear any filler in both works, just a great way to play this kind of music IMO,9.5/10!!! |
From: erik | Date: April 26, 2009 at 5:59 |
Very nice album indeed. Altho two major fillers on board with Broken Bodies and Animal Heads. Change of Heart, In between Dreams, Wing of Love, Trail of a Broken Heart,I'll be over You and Dont give up more then make up for it and are absolutely worth adding this cd to your aor/rock collection. Very catchy and nice structured songs. 85/100 |

More or less in the same line as their debut "Not So Innocent" but IMO weaker than the aforemetioned one...they repeat in both albums their best song "Trail Of Broken Hearts" and about the other tracks, the highlights for me are "In Between Dreams","Falling Down","Wings Of Love","Broken Bodies" & "Don't Give Up"...decent effort...85/100 |
