Really good cd that is further proof positive where the "rock" came from in Queen. Sure it has some Queen-like moments but it's just generally a well written and played rock album by a magnificent songwriter and guitarist. "Rollin' Over" has one of those great rock riffs that makes you go 25 miles over the speed limit before you realize it!! "Too Much Love..." is an excellent ballad and i think his vocals are just spectacular on it. I also gotta add Cozy Powell is awesome on this disc!

Pulled this out for a few spins, man got be in the right mood for this one. IMO, May is best when singing ballads, there is a sensitivity to his voice.

Pretty decent album by May. Gotta say I have always enjoyed his bombastic guitar work. I guess most people wouldn't realise he is a pretty fine singer in his own right. I didn't buy this when it first came out but recently got the remastered edition. My favourite tracks would be the title track and especially Driven By You which is a great rocker. I can do without the ballads, but thankfully there are more rockers than ballads on this release. Rated B.
