Let me just say that this group rocked. With Robert Mason on vocals, the took their 2nd album to a new level, If you love guitars, and grooving metal tunes check this cd out

From: scofenix Date: May 19, 2001 at 21:37
this cd was awesome i say buy it and the first one, but whatever you do dont buy the crap they put out on their 3rd

From: David Date: June 14, 2001 at 17:11
What can I say, one of the best rock albums ever, with the best vocalist ever. Robert Mason is just awesome!, Once again it's a big same they only did one album with him, but you can check him out in a band called Cry Of Love and a band called Silent Witness. Just do yourself a faver and listen to this great singer who takes singing to new level. Let George Lynch take you to a new world with some amazing guitar work. The song "When Darkness Calls" is just fantastic, what rock is all about.

The first Lynch Mob album was very good but i didn't like this one very much

From: Dragonfly Date: December 15, 2001 at 7:11
A classic rock release. A must have in anyones collection. Robert Mason is outstanding. His work with SILENT WITNESS is just as amazing. Didn't like his stuff with Cry Of Love. George is equally outstanding on this also. After this he went down the drain.

From: Nuno Logan Date: February 10, 2002 at 17:28
Perfect Album.Perfect Song.Robert Mason is fuckin' good but he seems Oni Logan singin' it's a copy;but it's very good..This album is good as the first but this one got more good songs.George Lynch rules n' Lynch Mob is a way better than Dokken..

Jason, Reno or Tim do any of you guys know what Robert Mason is doing these days. I know he played with Silent Witness and Cry Of Love and then toured with Ratt for a while, but do you know what he is doing these dayz?

From: Reno Date: May 14, 2002 at 11:47
David, A couple of websites to watch for info on bands and musicians are www.melodicrock.com and www.knac.com I haven't seen or heard his name for a while, but I'm sure with his talents he can't hide for long. Good Luck

From: Kim Date: June 9, 2002 at 2:20
Another great release, from a band that sadly didnt get huge. They were great though. Any news on them.???

From: Tony Date: July 16, 2002 at 10:57
This lineup with Tora Tora & Warrant in 92'. One of the best concerts I ever saw. Pretty good hard rock cd but to me not as good as the first. Songwriting comes across as almost "lazy" to me. You know you're in trouble when the best tune on the album is the cover tune. If you dig "Wicked Sensation" though you'll also think this is great.

From: Date: August 12, 2002 at 10:38
Mason's vocals is what made this album An awesome follow-up to their debut Mason smokes Oni Logan

From: ted Date: October 11, 2002 at 10:10
Robert Mason se ocupa de los lead vocals en este álbum más melódoco q el "wicked sensation" y con una producción más elaborada ,hay incluso ligeras influencias de whitesnake

From: robert Date: October 23, 2002 at 11:00
q voy a decir del grandioso george lynch? es increible! buen disco!

From: jocantaro Date: November 1, 2002 at 12:55
bastante bueno, casnciones guapas y una magnifica version de Queen

From: RichieRocker Date: March 28, 2003 at 18:52
LOL!! I just found out who Mason is. Well a lot of people on this site have a good judgement about rock music so i'll take there words for it, that Mason is an awesome vocalist.

From: Trick Taylor Date: April 7, 2003 at 21:12
I got this out and gave it a spin in my car. It has plenty of magical moments ("When Darkness Calls"), but lacks the homerun song to make it a classic. Come to think of it, that is the same problem Dokken had, couldn't quite finnish the deal. Robert Mason does a nice job here, but I still like Oni Logan's distinctive delivery on the first one better. This one lacks identity and frankly a sense of fun.

From: Gar Date: May 26, 2003 at 0:41
The talent's definitely there, but this is a pretty dull album in the long run. A few bright moments, but not enough to make this one a keeper.

From: aormilwaukee Date: November 22, 2003 at 18:36
without a doubt the best lynch mob album ever the rest is pure crap!!!! Robert Mason does a great job here so does george lynch...too bad they decided to make crappy music after this album....

From: Pat Lee(Bootle) Date: February 2, 2004 at 17:49
if u r in 2 minds to buy this album try and listen to the track called,"No Good".it's a classic.then u will buy the album......my fave Lynch Mob track...

From: johnnie rocker Date: March 19, 2004 at 20:08
Robert Mason can be seen in the Phoenix Area playing with a classic rock band "Dr. Ruth" (www.dr-ruth.com) he also plays in a 80's metal tribute band called "Metalhead" (www.metalheadrocks.com) If your in Phoenix or Tucson, go see him, he is awesome.

From: Gar Date: March 21, 2004 at 2:36
Holy crap! I live in Tucson and I've seen "Metalhead" shows advertised, but I had no idea Robert Mason was in the band. Now I'll have to go check them out!

From: Mike P. - TX Date: April 3, 2004 at 19:18
I prefer "Wicked Sensation" to "Lynch Mob". My first reaction to the 2nd album is that the guitars sounded "muted". I also think the 1st album has more good tunes. I've heard both Logan and Mason live, and while I like the Logan album better, Mason is a better live singer. Logan just seemed out of shape and out of breath, and just spoke the words live...

From: Border Rat Date: June 12, 2004 at 8:01
Get the Japanese version because it is worth it for the 2 extra tracks.I think Robert Mason is a superb vocalist. There are some great songs on this cd.George Lynch does a great job on the solos.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 27, 2004 at 20:36
With a new singer, the sound shifts to more of a bluesy hard rock vibe. This one is not as immediate to get into as "Wicked Sensation", but after several listens this one stands up better. Could have done without the Queen cover though. 8/10

From: AHUEA Date: September 30, 2004 at 1:09
Much better than the first LM cd, but sound wise it's a bit lammer, although this one has killer tracks like when darkness calls, dream untill tomorrow, the secret, no good, i want it Is it just me or does mason sound a lot like LOgan?

From: giorgos-greece Date: September 30, 2004 at 8:13
Wicked sensation differs from the second album in the same way good -but predictable- poser metal differs from classic hard rock.

From: yo Date: October 7, 2004 at 6:57
Georgw Lynch, lo maximo

From: Steve Date: January 5, 2005 at 1:01
Killer album. When Darkness Calls is one of my faves. Mason is better than Logan because I have heard Logan live and he sounds a lot like Kelly Hansen from Hurricane.

From: Geoff Date: January 16, 2005 at 5:17
Two albums, two awesome vocalists. I can't say who I prefer because I really love both efforts. Like the debut, there are fillers but there is some amazing hard rock on offer here and another killer album, IMO. 'No good' is a clear-cut winner, 'Dream until tomorrow' is a spine chilling peice of brilliance, 'Cold is the heart' is a monster track, as is 'Heaven is waiting', but it's 'When darkness calls' that steals a lot of the show here. Stunning track. IMO, better overall than the great debut.

From: Remastered Reason Date: January 16, 2006 at 22:07
Robert Mason is probably a better vocal choice than Oni Logan but hey, neither is close to Don Dokken. As far as that goes, Lynch was great in Dokken but hardly had a fire in him since "Back For The Attack". This disc is worth a few tracks such as "Jungle Of Love", "Tangled in the Web", & "Dream Until Tomorrow" but overall Mr. Scary has become Mr. Scared of letting it rip.

From: metalalways Date: September 30, 2006 at 20:10
this cd is rockin' good robert mason sounds a lot like oni logan love the song heaven is waiting and tie your mother down i like lynch mob they have there own style.

From: Chad Date: October 1, 2006 at 0:46
My fave of the Lynch Mob releases. Probably due to Robert Mason's awesome vocals. There is some very good songs on this one. It stands up to the S/T album in songwriting. This one is more polished than the debut. Great band and album.

From: rallen399 Date: January 1, 2008 at 5:25
One of the greatest cd's ever.Robert Mason is one of the truly great voices of rock and George is one of the best.Roberts new band kicks ass its called Big Cock a local Scottsdale Az. band.I haven't seen George or Mick around the local Cave Creek /Carefree hangouts for a few years hope you guys are planning to come back to Phx. soon.

From: onemorecast Date: August 11, 2008 at 2:58
Not as good as the first one but still ok. I have some unreleased tracks from this that are pretty good too. I preferred Logan over Mason, but Logan couldn't sing live.

From: hair metal again Date: October 23, 2010 at 5:14
hair metal perfection by the mighty LYNCH MOB.i would say that the groove is still all over, the guitar work is amazing the mason sings excellent.the songwriting is in high level and keith olsen in production doesnt spoil the sound of the MOB.great era ,great release.there s no such music anymore...

From: rockhardrock Date: February 2, 2011 at 16:27
another great album released in the 90s. like I said their debut is a bit better than this one but even though this one beats many albums made in the 90s by glam/hair bands. my faves: jungle of love, tangled in the web, tie your mother down (good cover) and the secret.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: April 18, 2011 at 18:23
This one is more or less in the same line as their "Wicked Sensation" release but a bit just a bit less stronger(even though it rocks the way we could possibly like )..."Jungle Of Love","No Good","Dream Until Tomorrow"(nice song),"Tie Your Mother Down"(acceptable cover of Queen)& the very good one "Heaven Is Waiting"(possibly my fave out of this album) are songs that will make your feet go stomping!!!...90/100

From: halfordhughes Date: May 16, 2011 at 13:26
Tangled in the Web

From: HEAVY PARADISE Date: June 23, 2012 at 13:12
Lynch smokes here!!!!!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: August 5, 2013 at 21:56
Lynch Mob continued on in mainly the same style as Wicked Sensation. Robert Mason is a better singer than Oni Logan, but their voices are quite simmilar. The other difference is that the songs don't feel as dark as on the first album, the melodies just seeming a little lighter, not so brooding. This puts the disc a little closer to AOR territory. Things kick off with "jungle Of Love," an obvious attempt at another "Wicked Sensation" funkfest. "Tangled In The Web" and 'No Good," "I Want It" and "The Secret" are highlights, as is the ballad "Dream Until Tomorrow." The Queeen cover kicks ass, while "When Darkness Calls" reminds me of the ... well, darker moments on the debut.

From: ghettonation73 Date: December 21, 2017 at 4:22
Great songs, Robert Mason is good, but I prefer Oni Logan better.
