The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Faith and Desire CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Faith and Desire are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Solid Canadian melodic rock - typical of the year, nothing that really grabs, but sound playing and production make this an enjoyable listen occassionally.

What about "Heavy Mellow" that followed this? Was a better all-round album than this and made better use of the trusty violin. I never got over the fact that the vocalist sounds like that bloke that sang for the Little Angels. Avoid this, get the 2nd one if you see it cheap.

Gave this away after picking it up for a buck. Typical bar band that makes tons of money playing covers and makes a cd here and there. There's a band in every city that sounds like this.

WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A BLEND OF NORTH AMERICAN HARD ROCK WITH SOME FUNK AND ART ROCK ELEMENTS. IMAGINE A MIX OF LITTTLE ANGELS,RIVERDOGS AND KINGOFTHEHILL WITH A LITTLE USE OF VIOLIN IN SOME TUNES. THE QUALITY OF THE BAND IS VERY HIGH WITH A GREAT RYTHM SECTION AND EXCELLENT VOCALS. THE GREATNESS OF THE SONGS ''STANDING ALONE'' AND ''LOVE WAS NEVER HARD FOR YOU'' IS UNBELIEVEABLE. SO GRAB THIS LITTLE TREASURE IF YOU FIND IT.

Agree with the good comments in here (hair metal again,Jez,poser forever, aor boy)...i loved this album from head to toes...clean production and yes!,a good voice(Gary Gillespie) that sounds (yeah Koogles you are quite spot on this)like Eric Martin at times but with a lot lower key tone(but it has its "it" you know what i'm saying...)..after an intro(quite a filler i must admit)comes a very good song "Little Bit More","Celebration" is a highlight,"Die Tryin'" solid one,"Heart And Soul" is an excellent track, liked it a lot,"The One Condition Of Love" & "Tongue And Groove" are both shots,"Love Was Never Hard For You" is another goodie one & "Tear It Up" yeah it grooves ...splendid album...90/100

I honestly couldn't understand the negative comments here. For me that's the exactly way that a Funky/Groove Hard Rock has to be. I dindn't find any real filler in this one. All I could hear was a very rich musichianship, an energetic dancing rythm section, a refined musical technique by all members, and a natural, strong and spontaneous vocals (the greatest highlight here! Gary Gillespie is undoubtedly a great singer). And all of it in a very clean and excellent production. Don't expect necessarily catch chorus or crisp ballads. That's not the point here. This album gets you by all the others adjectives I have listed above. No mistakes in any song. Trust, this is fucking good album!
