Fantastic AOR, even better than their other CD. 'Hearts On The Loose' is a killer song. AOR heaven, keyboard heaven. A MUST !!!!!

From: ROB GARCIA Date: April 16, 2003 at 12:42
fantastic aor very much in the vein of shotgun symphonys debut with a touch of bon jovi first album.this is a good adition to any serious collector.

From: John Date: September 18, 2003 at 15:41
This is awesome. Every song has a hook, which is a start. White's vocals are superb. I remember getting to the last song 'Things We Did For Love' and when it ended I thought to myself 'It's over and there isn't one clunker on the record.' Could it be any more catchy? The answer is none. None more catchy.

my girlfriend let me listen to this CD: pretty AOR with all standards. Suggested

What a band ! What a band ! Both CD are AOR JEWELS !!! Why are so little people interested in such a great band ! Listen to the song 'Hearts On The Loose' and you will lose your heart at Intruder !SUPERB !!!!! But where are they now ? He knows it ? Rob ? Scandinavia ? Koogles ? Chris ? AORMilwaukee ? Someone other ?

is there a japanese pressing of this cd, are there any bonus tracks?

From: Rycheage Date: February 17, 2004 at 0:34
The debut from “Intruder” is a must-have purchase for all fans of Shotgun Symphony, Survivor and early Bon Jovi. Classic guitar hooks and layered keyboards are rounded off with a tight rhythm section and precise harmony vocals.

good quality,but to many ballads

From: Sergio Date: November 27, 2004 at 16:45
HEARTS ON THE LOOSE, THINGS WE DID BEFORE, ONLY MAKE BELIEVE y YESTERDAY'S GONE son espectaculares ( entre el primer BON JOVI y SURVIVOR ), el resto, lamentablemente sólo pasable. 7/10

From: Geoff Date: February 10, 2005 at 6:39
Isn't 'Deep inside our hearts' one of the saddest songs you ever heard? My spine is tingling deeply just thinking of it, because I used to think about that song in reference to girls I once knew... who are now but a memory but the song will always be perfect. Amazing track. This is a very good CD. A lot of keyboards, but these guys do it well, and how good an opening track is 'Hearts on the loose'?! Yeah, I like these guys a lot. Great CD.

Opener 'Hearts On The Loose' is a complete Survivor clone, which is a pretty good comparison throughout along with Shotgun Symphony reference. There are better AOR/MR releases out there and this is certainly not of 'Classic' status that some people imply. Nevertheless a good, competent release with plenty to hold the attention for it's duration.

From: CRAZYNIGHTS Date: October 6, 2006 at 13:08
The whole Cd could be Great, but I want to believe that i'm no the only one who know that "HEART ON THE LOOSE" was stolen from survivor's "JACKIE DON'T GO", is not similalr, It's the same song whith different lyrics, You can hava a strong influence of survivor , but not this, so 1/10

From: z4roxx Date: November 21, 2006 at 13:02
That’s the best AOR I would hear always.George Karak is a great songwriter, this cd contains great killer tunes and the right production for that genre.Singer is also great here!!!The second cd”believer”is also good but far from this one.My rate here is 9.5/10

I remember another band does the song Hearts on the loose. Can someone tell me who the band is? Please let me know and thank you very much.

From: ninjapeter Date: June 13, 2007 at 1:06
Oops I made a mistake. I have a compilation album with Hearts on the loose on it. So what I thought was a different band was in fact Intruder. Sorry for the goof up.

From: ninjapeter Date: June 14, 2007 at 20:32
I have both albums and I think the second is better than this one but this is still great.

One word: Masterpiece!

From: juan carlos Date: March 9, 2008 at 0:51
Awesome AOR/Melodic Rock!! "Hearts on the Loose" What a Killer opener!, "Deep Inside Our Hearts"(Really good ballad where White´s voice reminds me of Michael sweet), "Surprise Attack"(ala Survivor on the Choruses) my fav but the whole album is fantastic except two ok songs. Survivor, Paul Laine Michael Sweet among others come to mind listening this album. Great Choruses, Keyboards and Voice, the only minor point is drums(weak IMO), with a strong and compact production this album would be a class

From: juan carlos Date: March 9, 2008 at 0:53
.. a classic without any doubt. 8.9/10

From: coverdale14 Date: June 17, 2008 at 12:06
TOP AOR CLASSIC. 10/10.

From: Footstomp Date: January 12, 2009 at 6:31
Good melodic rock album. No masterpiece thou. I’m very disappointed that the best track “Hearts on the Loose” is a more or less straight copy of Survivor´s “Jackie Don´t Go”, makes it hard for me to take the album seriously. Besides that I find the album a bit to mellow, the songs with a bit more power added is the best ones, as “Behind Closed Doors” or the title track “Dangerous Nights”.

From: halfordhughes Date: April 23, 2011 at 1:50
this is great aor!!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: October 27, 2011 at 18:49
In agreement with the positive comments above...good and enjoyable AOR album, maybe not a masterpiece IMHO but surely it has the tools to be considered,at least,a must have for AOR lovers ...songs with the typical keyboard flavour added and backed up with a pleasant voice(Tracy White)...my faves outta be "Hearts On The Loose","Yesterday's Gone"(nice & catchy),"Surprise Attack","Behind Closed Doors"(rocks),"Love Emergency","Will I See You In My Dreams?"(fantastic) & "Things We Did For Love"(fantastic)...recommended...87/100

From: ladsvader Date: March 5, 2012 at 23:46
Superb disc, Hearts on the loose its a copy from Playin' With Fire (Lita Ford). But the Intruder version its better.

From: 123charpenay Date: June 16, 2017 at 16:14
in 1998 i ve buying this cd cause "rock time" (french magazine) says that this record is "a must in aor".hum finally it s a great decent a o r realise not more.intruder don t play in champion s league.it s a second zone a o r band like one thousand others.only for die hard a o r fans.

From: hair metal again Date: July 17, 2019 at 14:48
excellent debut for INTRUDER from the New Jersey scene ,with George Karak showing his sensational songwriting ability!the sound is well balanced ,the vocals very well fit and most important there s a hook almost in every song!"hearts on the loose",'deep inside our hearts","things we did for love" and "love emergency' are the standout songs of a really impressive one

From: Roxas Date: January 19, 2024 at 10:49
What started as a novelty because of the Survivor clone opener has evolved into an essential slice of melodic rock. Hearts on the Loose these days has racked up more air time than Jackie Don't go. It's become a top track, and this album has maintained fantastic status. Brilliant stuff! Could not be without this.
