If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Scorpions CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Scorpions are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Pretty good live album, but production is a bit off.

There is nothing wrong with the production on this great one disc live cd. Great performances on part of the Scorpion boys. The 3 bonus track included at the end of the cd are also very good. "Edge Of Time" is awesome, & the other two get their points across as well (well, at least "White Dove" does). If you are a big fan of the Scorpions, then you already know that they kick total ass live, so why not add this disc to your collection if you haven't already? Or just buy it for the bonus tracks.

Here some food-for-thought: As soon as longtime drummer Herman Rarebell leaves the Scorps on 'Live Bites',his last three studio tracks with the band being included at the end of the cd, the band goes totally soft on us! 'Pure Instinct'? What? A lot of that cd is reminiscent of put-a-flower-in-your-hair-and-dance-around-the-ocean-naked-music. Herman, being a real good, basic, rock 'n' roll drummer, got replaced by some mambsy-pambsy percussionist on 'PI'. Glad that James-boy replaced him, though.

Most of the 6.5 I gave this album is due to "Tease Me Please Me," "In Trance," and "Wind of Change," with the throat-lumping sing-along at the end. Hey, if Rarebell is so great and so instruemtnal to the Scorp's hard-rock sound, how come two of his last three tracks are ballads, and "White Dove" is damn hokey!

tan buenos como siempre!!

This is one of the weirdest song selections for a live album, containing some of their latest hits, but mixing it with obscure album tracks. Of the new songs, "Edge Of Time" is good, but the others are weak. 5/10

I've always been a fan of live stuff but they could have heavied the thing up some. Maybe Break out or something to that effect.

fantastic live album from the best hard rock band of the history.ok alien nation is not my cup of tea.but the rest is a dream.excellent sound super production.the 2 studio bonus tracks are 2 ballads.simply marvellous."white dove " is a real hit!i ve seen them in concert in lyon at this time.that was the first scorpion s live performance of james kottak in replacement of herman french we says "y a pas photo" literally"there is no picture".traduction james kottak is an extraordinary drumer better better better than herman rarebell.

A fairly brief and forgettable live offering from the Scorps. Six of the eleven live tracks come from albums released since thsir last live album, and of them, "Tease Me, Please Me" is fun, "Alien Nation" is nice and heavy, and "Wind Of Change" (a song I don't hate the way 95% of Scorps fans seem to) ends with a stirring crowd sing-along. A couple older, less commonly played songs appear as well, with great renditions of "In Trance" and 'When The Smoke Is Coming Down." Overall, though, this set just doesn't pack the punch of World Wide Live. Of the studio tracks, "White Dove" is real nice, but is nearly ruined by endless "na-na-na's" and a squeaky-voiced female or child singer in the bridge. I gave it 55/100. Just not an essential release in any way.

This live album was recorded during the band's "Face The Heat" World Tour...actually on this tour the band played for the very first time in my country(Venezuela)and in the inner notes of the CD appeared some live photos and a piece of a local newspaper talking about the contains 3 studio tracks that without being extremely good ones it can satisfy the listeners quite well,i think...90/100
