If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Smack CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Smack are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I love their live record, they are a fantastic live band, great rock'n roll glam band. The singer died a few years ago

I really was surprised at this one, better than I expected, had a really unique sound. recommended!

From: Johnny Sick Date: June 29, 2003 at 17:18
The single-most underrated band in the history of rock and roll. Why this record though? Where is "Smack On You" or "Rattlesnake Bite". Those are where it's at.

The SMACK is one of the greatest bands ever, guys! And yeah, shame on this world, the most underrated ones... But hey, there are someones who remember them... => http://www.smack-fishfaces.tk Radical it's not their best album, but it sounds great anyway. And if you wanna understand the pure Rock'n'Roll force of SMACK definitely please listen to their live album - "LIVE DESIRE". You won't be disappointed if you have a rocky bleeding heart!

From: Vellu Date: January 15, 2004 at 11:41
Yeah, well Radical isn´t the best Smack album, but it works like hell. Strange Kinda Fever is the ultimate drinking-song. My personal favourite Smack album is perhaps Live Desire or Rattlesnake Bite. The song Steppingstone from Rattlesnake Bite is the best way to forget girlfriends who have destroyed your life.

What a great album!!!!! I see in the comments there are other Smack albums out there? Pls let me know I love these guys!!!!! my email is todd.kaufman@shaw.ca thanks

try and find "rattlesnake bite" if you can...great great great band, live and in the studio. They made up for Hanoi going "american hair metal" with "twp steps from the move"....

Yeah, Smack is the best band ever! In my opinion their best album is "Smack on You", which was their first. Anyway, all their albums are great... check also Fishfaces, which was Claude´s band after Smack.I saw Smack live few times and that band really rocked. Claude R.I.P.

From: Blackbird Date: March 27, 2004 at 19:10
Definitely SMACK, THE FISHFACES & CLAUDE were the best band ever and they will always rock the world. Can't tell what album is better because they are all special, even the Fellow Reptiles songs. Covers, yeah but really great covered! CLAUDE was everything in his music and in his poetry...so keep their legacy alive and rocking this narrow minded world! http://www.smack-fishfaces.tk ----->http://helsinkivampire.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=claude

Jeez, I think this one fetched me a lot more than usd$3.00 when I sold it on ebay! It was never the worst CD ever, but far from the best. Probably comparable to Reptile Smile, but neither of those bands ever did much for me. A unique style of rock, but definately not my cup of tea. Not a good release, IMO. Best avoided...

From: syl70 Date: September 16, 2004 at 6:02
their live album "Live Desire" is one of the best live record in the history of rock...

From: Scandinavia Date: May 9, 2005 at 16:46
Bought it...Listened to it...Checked the tracklisting to see if the cover really matched the noise in my ears...Got that point verified...Quickly pulled it out of my CD player...And today it serves as a very nice coffeetable!!
