either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits,
live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the
Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you
notice that a particular Krokus CD release or compilation is missing
from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page.
The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Krokus are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

|This was my intro to Krokus. What an introduction. A great album. They only produced 4 really excellent albums before going more commercial, but this is one of the 4. All the strongs are good rockin' tunes.

|You know?.....Krokus may have came out in 1980, but I don't know why they couldn't hang on to be a big part of the hair band BOOM of the late '80's? Maybe they ran out of steam, but they sure had the right sound to be a late '80's hair band. I like Krokus! They had great guitar sound and screaming vocals. Maybe just a little bit ahead of their time. Their 3 best albums are: Metal Rendezvous, Head Hunter & The Blitz. Check them out!

|Heatstrokes could have been done by Queen circa Sheer Heart Attack. Rock It.

|BEDSIDE RADIO could have easily been a #1 hit in 1984 - 1986... Way ahead of their time as far as true "Melodic Rock" is concerned. Great album!

|Man do i love this album. Remember the release and my first introduction with Krokus. In my humble opnion they have never been able to write tunes like this again. Sure incidentallt. But not an entire album. And i agree that bedside radio should have been a world wide number 1 hit. Soooo good. Songs that now a days you can still play and it will get you in that saturday night mood. Lets go hit the town boys !

|En mi opinion este disco en uno de los mejores de Krokus, un clasico que no debe faltar,en lo personal es de las mejores bandas del metal. Fernando Von Arb exelente guitarrista y Marc Storace exelente cantante.

|One can't help feeling that 'Metal Rendezvous' has more than an ounce of riffarama, a la AC/DC, Status Quo, though perhaps a shade heavier than both of them. However, there are some memorable moments onboard, namely the pairing of the superb 'Fire' and the power-ballad 'Streamer'. The more commercial efforts of 'Heatstrokes', 'Bedside Radio' and 'Tokyo Nights' are passable, though admittedly, Krokus' songwriting skills did gradually improve over time. This is good however.

|Along with "Headhunter" this was always a d*mn good record--1980 long before worthless Mtv started to exploit and over commercialize hard rock and metal bands.If you can get past some of Krokus' stupid videos--their music is pretty d*mn nice.AC/DC clones ?--No,they had plenty of material to their own merit .

|Tokyo nights is an increible song. Very very good. Also all the rest of the songs are greatttttttttttttttttttttttttt. BUY OR DIE. And about AC/DC CLONES???? NO WAY. KROKUS were and are far better.
||Date: December 17, 2004 at 22:09|
|Krokus far better than AC/DC?? Are you mad?? Wow. Not sure what kind of replies you are gonna get from that statement but I would be willing to wager my entire family, fortune and entire existance that you will get more supporters of Angus and the boys than Storace and his fleet of merry henchmen.I enjoy the hell out of Krokus but to say they are better than AC/DC is just plain ridiculous.It is like compairing Led Zeppelin to Kiss.Both great bands but a no brainer as to who holds the upper hand.

|I love KROKUS. They are an awesome band! KROKUS, AC/DC clones? No way, it would be stupid to say that...KROKUS, even better than AC/DC? Sadly no, AC/DC was more popular than KROKUS. But KROKUS is still a great band.

|Playing this 25 years after it's release and this is still a very very good album. There isn't one track on this that doesn't hit the mark in one way or another, although 'Heatstrokes' 'Streamer' and the brilliant 'Tokyo Nights' win the prize for the best tracks. This is definately the best album in the their catologue by a mile (although 'Hardware' and 'One Vice' are pretty good) and a classic in European Hard Rock - A definate must own if you haven't got it.

|Jez,my friend.1980 was one of the best years of the decade for hard rock.We have:ACE OF SPADES,HEAVEN&HELL,BRITISH STEEL,BLIZZARD OF OZZ,MSG,WHEELS OF STEEL&STRONG ARM OF THE LAW,ANIMAL MAGNETISM...and of course METAL RENDEZVOUS!Not as good as BACK IN BLACK from the mighty AC/DC,but still one of the best releases of the year.The most people know "Tokyo nights",but the true anthem is "fire" for me.Standout song!!!
||Date: December 14, 2007 at 12:42|

|Excellent, slightly behind Hardware as my favourite album but not a lot in it! Fire - Streamer - Tokyo Nights are the standouts for me. Some great riffs on this classy album.

|Very rocking album...the always comparison of the band with AC/DC has been like a little issue but they have never worried about it,they have their own way and formula to be disconected of that "label"..."Headstrokes" & "Bedside Radio" are the best cuts in here...tracks 3,5,7,9 & 10 also rocks pleasantly...84/100

|The best Krokus album, before they became an AC/DC clone.
