Not really my thing but I imagine fans of the band will enjoy this. For me, painfully simple hard rock with nothing at all to really get me excited. A few songs like 'Drive It in', 'Ride Into the Sun', 'Too Hot' and 'Firestar' are all decent as background noise but I wouldn't personally put it in my stereo over a lot of other stuff. Simple riffs, simple hooks and very simple songs. |

First time I listen to this I thought I was back in the 80's. This is a real surprise for 2010 I would say this album is going to do real well and there will be better comments then what Geoff Has Said. |

Hahaha.. I agree with Helix, well actually i am not a follower of Geoff´s comments. If Geoff don´t find "Melodies" or Super Hooks/Choruses then he doesn´t like that album. I like this album, if you love Hardrock ala AC/DC Bon Scott era so this stuff is perfect for you.. I´ll put it in my stereo this weekend, i´m sure i will enjoy it Gimme a "Shot of Love" Babe!! 8.5/10 |

Fantastic !!! Finally Krokus manages to produce those great rocking songs like they did way back On Metal Rendez Vous (Bedside Radio, Come On, Shy Kid,Lady Double Dealer and Back seat Rock and Roll). And yep Juan Carlos is spot on. So If you love the early Krokus then this ist it. Killer songs for me: Drive it In !!, Rock and Roll Handshake !! , Too Hot !! , In my Blood, Dirty Street, Keep me Rolling and Shot of Love. This is the way i love my Krokus 90/100 |

Intially didn't punch me in the mouth right off the bat like 'Hellraiser' did,BUT after a coupla turns this is a SOLID album! Vintage feel ala Metal Rendez-Vous/Hardware era.Nice cover of 'BTBW'(like all the covers they've ever done making it their own) 'Dirty Street' etc. good stuff throughout.Overall a good ol' hard rockin' Krokus record from Marc & Co.-- |

The fact that the band like Krokus was back on their feet again on a label bigger and major label like Columbia sounds amazing. |

Agree with some of the comments, takes a few spins to get into it. Man, are these dudes looking old. The insert pic's really show their age...but props to still rocking! |

Great effort by these guys that have our trust after all these years...I don't understand the comments about old fashion hard rock because my friends if you want modern hard rock you have to listen to Kings Of Leon or to similar b""shit like that.Hoodoo Woman is a rock n roll anthem and we haven't heard a song like that for a while...If it was the 80S it would have played on the radios unstopable.... |

This one took a few spins for me to get into but it's quite good. I prefer rock The Block to this one but not by much. These guys have been releasing quality music lately and I hope to catch them live whenever they make it back to the states. |

Have to agree with Geoff on this. "Firestar" is likely the hardest and best track, with a couple others that are decent. I have heard BTBW too many times and consider Zodiac Mindwarp's cover the best, maybe the Cult a close second. This album is full of the same old midtempo fodder that drags them down at times, this album is not as good as Rock the Block, Dirty Dynamite and not even in same league as Hellraiser. |
